PRE-SCHOOL A fun-filled programme that develops each child’s coordination, stamina, muscle tone, balance and concentration. Children learn to think independently and solve problems creatively. They learn through self- discovery, creativity and experimentation and emphasis is placed on developing listening, language and social skills. Our children receive two healthy meals a day with snacks and our programme accelerates brain development, particularly in the areas of language acquisition and reading skills. In addition, our music programme also helps strengthen memory and a range of other skills. Most of our children make use of our afterschool care service.

PRIMARY SCHOOL Each pupil is developed holistically, resulting in an independent self-work ethos. This and our unique classroom environment - – Promotes student growth and leadership skills – Brings about critical thinking and creative reasoning – Fosters a sense of empathy and awareness (EQ) – Allows pupils to feel unique, yet part of a group – Results in knowledge gained, being knowledge applied Our self-work ethos prepares pupils for high school and eventually for coping with diversity in the workplace. Culture and sport are an important part of primary school life. They help children to develop physically, socially and mentally, enabling them to better cope with the demands of school life by building their self-confidence and self-esteem.

HIGH SCHOOL The High School has a dynamic academic environment that provides quality education to all pupils within the parameters of a sound value system. Controlled class sizes are the decisive factor for a balanced learning environment. This allows for creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and global connectedness to happen within the classroom setting. The IEB assessment that we follow ideally equips students for tertiary education. Eduplex pupils have obtained a variety of provincial and national colours in academic, sport and cultural activities. Pupils participating in cultural activities and competitive sport at high school level are given the chance to develop important life skills such as creativity, confidence, self-discipline, effective communication and the ability to work in teams.
