Preparation for the CORPORATE WORLD Organizational Structure Training Program (OST) The OST program is the first real exposure to the corporate world. This program provides the student with an initial introduction to how the world works. As fresh, budding minds, the students get a headstart on the ways around an organisation, which helps them better affiliate with how it functions. A competition is conducted at the end, which motivates the students further. Social Concern Project (SCP) The SCP is undertaken at the end of the first trimester of the MBA program. This project mainly revolves around NGOs and MSMEs, where the students are asked to interact with a corporate mentor. They are given the opportunity to interact with the mentor and organisation as a whole, where they help with the problems that the company is facing. They are asked to suggest various measures to assist with the issues. Students get to build their minds, collect insightful measures, and have a new understanding of the issues faced. Summer Internship Project (SCP) At the end of the fourth trimester, each MBA student has to complete a two-month internship project. This is essential for an MBA graduate as this is their first real-life experience of the corporal set-up. During these two months, the students are enlightened about the management world and have a taste of their industry. Each of them is allocated an academic mentor along with their corporate mentor. They have to keep their corporate mentor in a constant loop with the activities happening in the organisation, which helps in managing both times and the responsibilities they are given. Master Thesis (MT) The students start working on their master thesis in the third trimester of the MBA program. This is a golden opportunity where the students begin their journey of choosing a topic of their choice and conducting extensive research to be awarded the degree of MBA. The students have to present their papers to their respective mentors, and the students with the highest quality research papers get the chance to have their papers published in reputed journals.
