Banana Beach, Koh Hey is known as a landmark for the Hornbill that lives in the south of Thailand. The Hornbill is a symbol of true love, when the Hornbill meets its partner, they stay true to one another till death does thier part. The existence of the Hornbills on the island is an indicator of the abundance of nature and resources. The architecture on Banana Beach was inspired by the \"hornbills\" to add uniqueness, combines with bamboo and thatched roof to blend in with nature even more.
