ABOUTOUR PHILOSOPHYAt Tato’s, we aim to provide the highest quality ofcustom polo mallets, horse tack, horse accessoriesand fine leather goods. Our philosophy of One Stepat a Time – or the idea that time and perseverancebrings quality and durability – is an approach thatwe firmly stand behind in every mallet we produceand every product we carry, while providing thebest possible customer service.OUR STORYOur journey began in 2001 with a 750 square footmallet work shop fit only for Tato, founder andmain craftsman of Tato’s Mallets. Tato was bornand raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where heworked in his family’s business of furnituredesigners and manufacturers. It is there where hemastered the art of wood work. After immigratingto the United States in the late 1990’s, Tato beganto pursue opportunities in the Polo industry whenhe acquired the first work space. Today, the oncesmall mallet shop is now a 5,000 square foot retailstore focusing primarily on polo equipment,leather goods and one of the industry’s largestvarieties of equine bits.

Argentina, where the sport ofpolo reigns above any other sport, is home tothe world’s top polo athletes, making thisauthentic belt pattern a world-wide hype. We finished off the belt with a top-of-the-line stainless steel buckle, made in the USA,to ensure longevity.
