Berechet Gabriel și Ciulică Andrei /Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela Nasreddin Hodja woke up and his first thought was to check if he still had the ring. He dreamed that he had sold it, but he calmed down when he saw that it shone beautifully on his finger. He realized that he was in a carriage, swayed by the monotonous gait of horses driven by a coachman who sang in a language that he did not understand a painfully sad song. „Where are we?” he asked the coachman. We are in Romania. You are the guest of honor of Princess Margareta. We go to the Peleș Castle that you see up there, on the mountain. Arriving at the castle, Nasreddin was greeted by a guide who gave him some precious information. Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, that was built between 1873 and 1914 for King Carol I.

Boldea Andreea și Păun Paul / Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela The Peleș Royal Castle, surrounded by an extremely pretty landscape with gardens built on terraces, all at the edge of dense forests, is very impressive through the riches it has accumulated: old and new canvases, old furniture, weapons, all sort of curios, everything placed with good taste. The guide showed him the whole castle and afterward, he led him to Princess Margareta of Romania who was waiting for him to have a delicious royal lunch characterized by good taste, quality, and refinement. Goose in the oven, stuffed with chicken liver, rosemary, prunes, lemon, and candied fruit, stuffed pheasant, deer on a spit, baked partridge, and many other meat dishes, various cakes, and the finest wines. Nasreddin Hodja enjoyed this wonderful lunch, over a glass of wine, a pleasant conversation, and a select company. After lunch, Nasreddin was invited to rest in the Golden Room in Pelișor.

Căprescu Christian și Pipa Marius / Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela Nasreddin Hodja woke up swaying again, but now it seemed as if he was floating. He felt like he was getting up in the air but he didn't know how. He fearfully checks if he still had the ring and calms down when he finds that it was on his finger. He looks more closely and notices that he is in an elevator with several people dressed in costumes and discussing political issues. „You are in the Palace of the Parliament of Romania, in Bucharest”, said one of the men. „Can you please give me more information about this construction?” Hodja asked him. „Certainly,” he said. „The Palace of Parliament stretches over an area of 365,000 square meters, measures 270 meters by 245 meters, 84 meters high, and 92 meters under the ground, with 9 levels at the surface and other 9 underground.”

Franyi Dariana și Frățilă Alexa / Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela Nasreddin visited the imposing Palace of Parliament that, according to the World Records Academy, is the most expensive and the heaviest building in the world, occupies the 1st place in the world for the largest administrative building for civil use and the 3rd place in the world in terms of volume. Hodja attends a government meeting as an observer and once the meeting is over, he and his new friend went together to have lunch at Hanul lui Manuc, a restaurant with traditional Romanian products. They feasted on many dishes like tripe soup, carp brine, mici, sarmale, papanși, cheese pie, and others. After lunch, Nasreddin Hodja visited Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and in the evening he went to bed in the Grand Hotel Bucharest. He pulled the ring out of his finger and put it on the bedside table next to the bed, and immediately fell asleep being very tired.

Camber Cristina și Coteț Gabriela / Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela Nasreddin Hodja found himself swaying slightly in the rustling of reeds and in the sound of oars. The ring had brought him into a boat sailed by a boatman who gently whistled a cheerful song. „Where are we?” he asked the boatman. „We are in the Danube Delta.” Hodja learn from the boatman many interesting things about this wonderful, fairytale land that opened up before their eyes. The Danube Delta represents a very favorable place for the development of highly diverse flora and fauna, unique in Europe, with numerous rare species. It hosts 23 natural ecosystems. With over 1500 species of plants, the Danube Delta has an extremely rich flora. Among these, the most beautiful are the white water lilies, the yellow water lilies, the water caltrops, the rizacs, and the epistles. It is also an environment rich in numerous species of fish, such as carp, pike, pike perch, wels catfish, and freshwater sturgeons.

Grasu Cristian / Liceul Teoretic Zimnicea / România / Filip Antonela Situated on major migratory routes, and providing adequate conditions for nesting and hatching, the Danube Delta is a magnet for birds from six major ecoregions of the world, including the Mongolian, Arctic, and Siberian. There are over 320 species of birds found in the delta during summer, of which 166 are hatching species and 159 are migratory. Over one million individual birds (swans, wild ducks, coots, etc.) winter here. Admiring these wonders, Nasreddin realized that he was hungry. They stopped at the greatest fish restaurant in Sulina, where they ate the most delicious fish and seafood dishes and drank the finest drinks. After that, they went to Constanta, the biggest Romanian port on the Black Sea where Nasreddin boarded for Istanbul on the Black Pearl, a luxurious cruise ship. Swayed by the soothing waves of the Black Sea, with so many beautiful memories in his mind and soul Nasreddin Hodja falls asleep, gently touching the ring, his precious friend.

Natalia Misterka/ CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland Nasreddin is dreaming about new adventure in another foreign country, in his dream he sees a country with dark blue sea waters with lots of seagulls, beaches and a long white pier. Before opening his eyes, he accidentally touches the ring on his finger and suddenly he is woken up by the crashing waves splashing on his body. He asks a man passing by “Where are we and why is the water so cold?” The man answers “We are in Poland and this is the Baltic Sea, so what do you expect? In this country it is often cold” Nasreddin asks again “In which city in Poland are we now?” “It’s Sopot, one of the cities of Tricity” “I’m so cold, I’d like to rest somewhere, maybe in this building in the distance” The man answers “ Oh! Good choice! It is the Grand Hotel built in 1927. It's very luxurious and very expensive. Lots of famous people stayed there in the past.” When Nasreddin enters the hotel, he is astonished by the exclusive interior. Being very hungry, he sits at a table and orders codfish with mashed potatoes. Then he tries delicious seafood. After dinner, he decides to go for a walk on the white pier, which is the longest in Europe. He reached the end of thie pier and touched the ring thinking about going to a warmer place.

Oliwia Nowak/ CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland He found himself in a very big city. It was Wroclaw - the capital of Lower Silesia. He thought that the place had rich history and he had been right. He found a national museum with one great painting which he had never seen in his life. The painting is called the Racławice Panorama. It is a monumental (15x114 meter) cycloramic painting depicting the Battle of Racławice, during the Kościuszko Uprising. Nasreddin was very impressed by this painting because he had a feeling of reality while looking at the painting. He liked this place very much. That’s why he wanted to visit another one. He wanted to visit a castle, so he touched his magic ring. He found himself in front of the large Książ Castle. It is the largest castle in Lower Silesia. The building has over 400 rooms. It was built in 1292. Nasreddin entered the castle and began to admire the amazing interior. He was delighted. He explored different rooms.Suddenly, he found himself in one dark, terrible room. He couldn’t get out of it. He was very scared and started to panic. He realized he had his ring. Nasreddin closed his eyes and touched his ring, hoping he would be in a better place.

Emilia Różańska /CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland When he opened his eyes, he wasn't inside of a dark, terrible room anymore. He was in Mazuria Lake District, a lake district in northeastern Poland within the geographical region of Masuria. The Masurian Lake District is known primarily as the largest concentration of lakes in the country. The first thing he saw were the characteristic glacial lakes. He noticed that numerous rivers of the Narew basin flow from the hills both to the north and to the south. It was beautiful there. He was surrounded by the sounds of animals and the wonderful smell of trees. The most common species of mammals in the Masurian Lake District are deer, roe deer, wild boar, squirrels, hares and badgers. There are also many species of waterfowl, reptiles and fish. Suddenly, Nasreddin saw a boar running towards him. He got scared and immediately touched the ring.

Oliwia Stawarz /CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland He opened his eyes and saw a beautiful Wawel Royal Castle. This view was breathtaking. He was in Cracow in Poland. There were people passing next to him and they were wearing incredible, gorgeous and colorful Cracow cultural costumes. He really enjoyed the view and he wanted to see more. He went to main Square and two big towers appeared in front of him. That was Saint Mary’s Church! This church is 66 meters high. He was amazed by the view, when he suddenly heard a loud melody. A guy on top of the tower was playing on a trumpet. It was bugle call. He found out that this melody is played everyday there at 12 o’clock. Then he noticed that his ring was gone. He lost it. He started to panic, walking around the town searching for it. Finally, he found it somewhere on the ground. When he put it on his finger, he fell asleep.

Olga Wołowczyk/ CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland When he woke up, he saw a stunning landscape and the biggest lake in the middle of the Tatra Mountains. That was Morskie Oko lake. The thing that drew all of his attention was the green surface of the lake. While he was admiring this beautiful view, he heard loud music, he followed this sound and noticed a group of people dressed in folk highlanders' costumes. They were singing not only charming but also mysterious songs. After the spectacular performance, the highlanders offered Nasrediin a horse-drawn carriage ride to the winter capital of Poland- Zakopane. They dropped him off next to the most famous promenade in entire country named Krupówki. Nasrediin was starving after this trip, so he decided to go to the nearest inn. He asked for a regional dish known as Moskole- these are potatoe pancakes served with grilled sheep cheese and boletus soup. He finished delicious meal and thought about another journey.

Maciej Silke/CKZiU Lubliniec/Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland He looked at the magical ring, and put it on his finger. The ring started to glow magically and teleported him to Wielkopolska (Greater Poland), more precisely to Poznań. A little embarrassed Nasreddin started looking around and thinking where he was. After a while, he saw an old lady selling \"Rogale Marcińskie\". He bought two croissants from her, then he sat down on a nearby small bench and ate them. Fed up and ready to continue exploring Poznań, Nasreddin got up from the bench and walked in the direction of the monument with goats where he took a selfie with them. The ring began to pulse and glow again, blinding Nasreddin.

Małgorzata Dyla/ CKZiU Lubliniec/ Małgorzata Kozioł/ Poland He unexpectedly appeared in a forest, where he couldn’t find any way out of the nature. He was surrounded by greenery. Walking along a forest trail, he came across a sign informing him that the route he was following was the Wooden Architecture Trail. Along the trail there were also sites appreciated by UNESCO. While walking and admiring the beauty of nature, he came across a 500-year-old church in Haczów. When he wanted to come in to see the interior of the church, his ring acted unnaturally, again blinding him with a glow out of this world.

Camassa Luigi/ IISS FERRARIS DE MARCO VALZANI/BRINDISI /ITALY But he tried to overcome his blindness and to come in the church, switching on a lamp, because it was dark inside. Here he saw a wonderful altar full of gold statues and he was really astonished by their lightening. Suddenly, Nasreddi hodja saw a mysterious old man, well dressed, and he noticed he had a polite behaviour, he was scary but curious. They both decided to approach each other, the old man said his name, he was Jack, the guard of the mysterious church. Jack explained the history of that mysterious but enchanted place.

Cosimo Capozza/ IISS FERRARIS DE MARCO VALZANI/ BRINDISI/ITALY That place had been considered by the nearby inhabitants as dangerous and mysterious even though a lot of curious and brave people tried to come in just to know the boundary between legend and real history. It was a temple in ancient time, and there lived ancient and rich tribes, that’s why it was mainly made up of gold. But only the man who had found the magical ring can be accepted in that place. Nasreddin discovered he was a real descendant of the last tribe who lived in that place, that’s why he found the ring and he was accepted in that place. Jack was very happy for that discovery, they both decide to take care of the church, to renovate it and so it was a UNESCO patrimony, visited by 20.000 tourists a year.

The ring that Nasreddin Hodja found changed his destiny. Thanks to the ring, he traveled to many places, met new people, learned different cultures and tasted different tastes. Now it is time for Nasreddin Hodja, who added new experiences to his life experience, to tell them to others. Now he must move on and embark on new adventures. THE END
