Distribution Center of the Future

Description: In designing the distribution center of the future, we chose to think of it less as a building and more as a critical tool of commerce in a changing economy. We focused on four areas of economic change: Demand, Source, Time and Technology. Within this framework, the distribution center can be viewed as a tool built from a kit of parts optimized to respond to the emerging economy.
