ABILITY IN ACTION Find out what's happening on campus and off CORY AT CELEBRITEES Supported Employment Participant Cory is printing smiles at Celebritees! CEO Meg says, “Employability is a great organization. We have an employee, Cory, that came to us from Employability. He puts a smile on my face every day.” OUT AND ABOUT Our Community Access Group is slowly but safely getting back out into the community - when it's not raining! Participants are enjoying trips to the parks, libraries, botanical gardens, and a city-wide scavenger hunt! THANK YOU, KRISNA! Congratulations to Employee of the Month, Krisna. She is the best of the best -participants and coworkers all love her gentle, creative approach and positive energy. We are so grateful to have her on the EmployAbility team.

LIFE SKILLS Through a partnership with the UGA Extension, our programs are participating in interactive lessons that teach nutritious cooking on a budget. \"UGA Extension aims to provide unbiased, research-based information to help individuals and their families live healthier, happier lives through maintaining a nutritious and active lifestyle.\" COMPUTER LAB Participants are learning critical prevocational skills in our all-new computer lab. Our fully adaptable, multipurpose workspace is dedicated to teaching the tools and technologies needed for the workforce, as well as ways to use the internet for research and communication in our everyday lives. CONGRATULATIONS, LEANDREA! Welcome to our newest Board Member LeAndrea Mikell. She is currently the Executive Director, Governmental Relations at Savannah State University. She says, \"I truly believe in the power of community, and I am honored to join the team in contributing to the mission of the organization.\"

TRANSPORTATION We are excited to announce that we met our goal for the Emergency Fundraiser to repair and secure our transportation! Thank you for all of your donations, generosity, and support. We would not be here without you. We still have much work to do, though. Please donate what you can today!
