As I complete two years tenure as editor of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East. The journey has been wonderful and memorable. I would like to expressed my gratitude and sincere thanks to my senior colleagues and all members for their guidance and constant support to make our club as outstanding and in completion of assignment given to me. My heartfelt thanks to all friends from the press and media for their extensive coverage of all our projects. The theme for this year “ WE CARE ” has been well chosen and the activities associated with this theme promise us to care in development of club in days to come. 100 YEARS OF INNER WHEEL Inner Wheel is one of the largest women's voluntary organizations in the world active in 104 countries and more than 1,20,000 members. The Founder of the Inner Wheel Mrs. Margarette Golding started Inner Wheel movement in Manchester UK in the year 1924. This Inner Wheel Year 2023-24 is the Centennial Year. Association of IW Clubs formed in India and SriLanka in 1976. First Association President Raksha First Association President Mehta. At present, there are 812 clubs in 27 districts and 54693 members, Inner Wheel District 325 Inner Wheel District 325 was formed on 19 June 1985 with four clubs Darbhanga, Biharsharif, Gaya and Hazaribagh. Dr.Mrs. Saraswati Devi of IWC Biharsharif was elected as the first District Chairman of District 325. At present there are 78 clubs with 2282 members. Inner Wheel Club Of Jamshedpur East – Since 2011 Rajshree Anand Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East was formed on 3 July 2011 by District Chairman (2011-12) - Mrs. Lata Raina. Charter Day 15, Charter Number 5854. Charter President 2011 Mrs. Rajshree Anand was the Charter President of the club with 21 members. At present there are 30 members. Professional Mehandi Designing Course for women and girls of Sidgora colony. 24 girls completed the training in two batches and they are successfully earning through this skill. Agarbatti Making & Packaging Course For 7 women who is earning by selling Agarbatti Stitching & Tailoring Course for 20 women at Sidgora Colony. Two month professional course by a certified trainer, and we gave one sewing machine for classroom practice.

TB Awareness Session By Jharkhand Head TB Officers at Rajak Samaj Basti. Tuberculosis Symptoms, Easy Diagnosis and Govt. policies for free treatment and patient Adoption was elaborated. Post Office Schemes A camp at Rajak Samaj Basti with Post Masters and officers from Bistupur & Golmuri Post Office who explained the savings schemes beneficial for Ladies of all age.
Legal Help & Awareness - with ladies of Namda Basti Golmuri, speaker Renowned Lawyer Sangeeta Jha. We supported one lady with all legal help and process who was victim of domestic violence & abuse. W – Old Age Care & Health Care PROJECT SMILE We fixed dental problems of all inmates of Aashirwad Old Age Home by providing them Denture, Tooth Setting & Repair Health Camp at Utkal Samaj Oriya School Overall health check-up of 120 students were done by our expert doctors Dr. Neelam Sinha, Dr. Indu Chauhan and Dr. Shabnam Dhira. Women Health Camp at Patamda village Medical Check up done for 50 women along with several tests and free medicine were distributed by PP Ira.
Blood Donation Camp in Blood Bank of Jamshedpur & Sai Mandir Ghorabandha An awareness on benefits of donating blood was created. The project coordinated by our member Rashmi Narayan. Our Club President Archana and PP Rekha donated blood. Including both the Camps Total 115 units blood collected. This Project is coordinated by Rashmi Narayan. PP Rama Khanna donated for Narayan Sewa at Sai Mandir Camp Breast Feeding Awareness at Baga Basti Kadma with 45 lactating mothers. Awareness session by PP Rama Khanna, a baby show was organized. 45 Packets of Horlicks sponsored by President Archana Breast Feeding Awareness at Kapali Basti, Sonari with 30 lactating mothers. Awareness session by PP Rekha, an interesting quiz session was conducted.
RALLY & AWARENESS WORLD HEART DAY We participated in a Rally organised by Bramhananda Hospital. WORLD DIABETIC DAY We participated in a Walkathon organised by Lion’s club of Jamshedpur.
RALLY & AWARENESS WORLD TB DAY - We participated in a Rally organised by TB Centre Jharkhand Road Safety Awareness Session & Rally by officers of District Transport Office (DTO) at Kadma Utkramit Vidyalaya. A Rally was organized with 300 students and public to aware Traffic Rules.

Serving clean drinking water to 700 villagers Project initiated and coordinated by our PP Namrata Jha.
TREE PLANTATION Red Rose School – Awareness and Plantation of Fruit Trees Medicinal plants were distributed among the students. Ghagidih Orphanage 15 Coconut & 15 Fruit Plant Joint Project at District Assembly ANANTA One Member One Tree - On Inner Wheel Day 30 members donated 30 saplings of fruit trees at Hindkushth Ashram. Poshan Vatika at Masti Ki Pathsala, home for 120 homeless boys. We made a garden of Papaya and Banana for their everyday nutrition. Sponsored by Sulochana Jha
Painting Competition on Water Pollution & Anaemia at Masti Ki Pathsala 500Anti plastic Campaign - We distributed Cloth Bags in many places mostly to kids. Composting at Masti Ki Pathsala A Composting unit was set up to make garden and kitchen waste into manure. 2 Dustbin Donation & Usage at Masti Ki Pathsala - Awareness on waste segregation and disposal method for composting was done.
Awareness session for Noise & Water Pollution at Utkramit School Kadma by PP Ira & Rama Rain Water Harvesting At Utkramit Vidyalaya Kadma. Connected exit water pipe lines of all roofs and grounded deep down with a modern filtration mechanism. It will harvest a huge quantity of rain water. Sponsored by President Archana. Awareness on Save Water and Water Pollution - PP Rekha at Utkramit Vidyalaya Kadma. To aware the children the importance of water we did Wall Paintings for better effect.
Grey Water Management - at Masti Ki Pathsala. A grey water filtering unit was set up where waste water from the kitchen & bath was systematically channelized to remove grey particles from water. A high power motor is installed to pump the collected water and use it for watering the garden & cleaning courtyard. Sponsored by PP Vinita Jha Recharge Water - To Recycle and Reuse the natural water at Aguidangra Patamda, we made a deep hole in a low area where the waste water and the rain water will get collected and absorbed by earth for recycle.
Seed Ball Making PDC Poonam Prakash Vertical Director of Environment Projects 2022-23 taught us to make Seed Balls. She demonstrated the techniques of making seed arrangements in simpler form and ideas to use it in many unique ways. This program was attended by all Four Inner Wheel Clubs of Jamshedpur. UNIQUE PROJECT Adoption of TB Patients – We adopted 3 TB patients and provided them monthly ration to fulfill their nutrition need. Care for Special Children – PP Namrata treated 50 special children of Gyanoday Academy Cyber Security Awareness – We did this project at Burmamines School. Chief Speaker was DSP Jaishree Kujur and Senior Officers from Cyber Crime Branch Jamshedpur. Fire Safety Awareness & Demonstration - by 5 officers from Jharkhand Fire Service at Hindustan Mitra Mandal School Golmuri in presence of 250 students and huge no. of public.
AADHAAR SERVICE Coordinated with Nagar Nigam officers and after many regular follow-ups and camps we could make New card and required changes in card for 150 women & children of Dobo Village. Projects with Transgenders Dental Check up camp & Medicated tooth paste distribution. Audio Visual Oral Cancer Awareness, Masks & Food Coupon Distribution. Project coordinated by Dr. Meena Mukherjee.
UNIQUE PROJECT CPR TRAINING AT PM MALL JAMSHEDPUR CPR Training and Demonstration program 'Restart a Heart' by Dr. Neelam Sinha. The program was specifically designed to educate the entire staff of the mall. This event is coordinated by Vice President Sampa. INNER WHEEL BRANDING We put a 8 feet by 20 feet large glow hoarding with Inner Wheel Logo and traffic safety message at Traffic T.O.P of Sakchi Main Golchakkar a busiest place in town where everyday spectator is more than ten thousand. Project was inaugurated by our District Chairman 2022-23 Dr. Rita Jha. HEART DAY – At PM MALL Bistupur we organized a CPR - Training and Demonstration program by Dr. Neelam Sinha. This project was aired live on facebook and our banner with logo & social message was displayed in the Centre Digital Board of PM Mall for a day. As the day was on a weekend, so the public footfall is more than 2500. Hoping Inner Wheel will be remembered by people, increasing our loyalty. This Ad Board facility of the Mall was managed by VP Sampa.

SPORTS DAY – at UFHE Birsa Nagar NUTRITION WEEK – Protein rich dry ration for with 50 students of evening school run 120 Orphans of Golmuri Orphanage. An by our member Dr. Meena Mukherjee. Almira was also donated by our ISO Sanchita PEACE DAY - We displayed messages and HEART DAY – For mass Public Awareness we released white balloons and Dove origami displayed message on Healthy Heart in the as a sign of peace Centre Digital Board of PM Mall.
TEACHER'S DAY - we honored 10 teachers and DC Dr. Rita Jha who is a teacher since 1987. CHARITY DAY – In UHFE Birsa Nagar. We Felicitated a poor girl Simran Kaur who scored highest marks and we gave token gifts to 10 students who did well in board exam. Our Member Dr. Meena Mukherjee coordinated the program. CHILDREN'S DAY At Subhash Bose orphanage we installed an overhead water storage tank of 5000 liters. This Love & Care for orphans was sponsored by Brahmanand Hospital and coordinated by our PP Ira Bandopadhyay. With the kids of Golmuri Clubs staff. We gathered them in the Club premises and celebrated the day with fun and games. A cake was sponsored by PP Nilima for her grandson’s birthday.
