January 6, 2021 Happy New Year btc Reno Coaches and Teammates! Like many of you, I am excited to ring in 2021 with optimism. I hope the holiday break allowed you to return to your daily activities with renewed energy. Despite all the challenges, hardships and surprises, btc Reno members embraced 2020 as an opportunity to learn from new challenges and btc continued to give back to our community during a time when it needed us most. It’s worth celebrating that we have all become more resilient as we navigated down the path of the unknown. Resilience is not something we are born with—it’s built over time. Our unique personal life experiences and genetics contribute to how we all handle stress and hardship differently. I’m excited for all of us to continue to grow, to continue to give grace to others (as each member continues down unchartered waters), to celebrate every small or big moment possible and to continue to give the gift of time to our local community this year. Did you know btc Reno has already collectively logged 1,400 philanthropy volunteer hours?! Great job!!! Keep in mind, this only accounts for the members who have entered their philanthropy volunteer hours on the btc website. Please remember to enter your volunteer hours as soon as you possible so we can thank and report back to our local philanthropy partners. Further, we would also like the opportunity to honor and celebrate each of our btc members’ accomplishments in April! Lastly, be sure to
look at the btc Reno calendar each week to stay up to date with upcoming btc Reno events(including all Zoom meeting links) and newly added volunteer opportunities. Our VP Philanthropy leaders and Philanthropy Liaisons are doing a fantastic job keeping our btc calendar full of in- person and at-home volunteer opportunities. As always, please feel welcome to reach out to me or any board member with questions, concerns, accolades or general suggestions. Thanks everyone for your flexibility and hard work. You are truly making a positive impact in our local community.
