It aimed to create a Comprehensive, multilingual, dynamic virtual platform for country wide content exchange program for the learning community – children as well as teachers. • m-Heritage Project: Taking forward the e-Heritage project, to a mobile application for the same called ‘M-Shahjahanabad’. Currently the application is being launched for Old Delhi. It would allow users to navigate through the streets, lanes and by lanes of the city. Users will also be able to upload their own content and comments. This mobile application is available for android phones only and

can be downloaded free of cost. • m-Billionth Award for South Asia: recognising excellence in mobile innovations for development. • Digital Panchayat is a functional and dynamic digital platform and working station designed and created for each and every Panchayat in India, powered by Internet. The objective is to facilitate and improve Panchayat functioning on day-to-day basis, through two way flow of information and content. The goal is to realise various development objectives at grassroots level. Our aim was to capture a rich picture of how people interact with the mobile phones? What are the activities personal and professional they do using mobile phones? How is the form flow and function of the mobile phone they are using? What are they really using, for how long, and when? What else is happening around them when they interact with their phones on the go and how does this affect their interactions? Which activities performed through smartphones have (or haven't) become part of our daily routines? What are the barriers that stop us? In order to answer these and other questions we designed a study of mobile usage behavior from an ethnographic perspective, studying real users in real situations. This was the largest electronic citizen database in India and has acted as the stepping stone for the Unique Identification Number. Comat has also began the Proof of Concept for the Unique Identification Number in two districts of Karnataka.
