DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY Trailborn is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive workplace that is free from alcohol and unlawful drugs while teammates are working and/or on Trailborn premises (either on or off duty) and while operating employer-provided vehicles. The use of marijuana as it impacts the workplace is prohibited by Trailborn’s policy. Teammates that work while under the influence of unlawful drugs or alcohol pose a safety risk to themselves and others with whom they work. If I take legally-prescribed over-the-counter medication or other lawful medication, I should inform the Department of People & Culture if I believe the medication may impair my job performance, safety or the safety of others, or if I believe I need a reasonable accommodation before reporting to workwhile under the influence of that medication. Marijuana, however, even if prescribed by a state medical marijuana law or used lawfully for recreational purposes, remains illegal under federal law, and may not be used on Trailborn’s premises or during working hours, nor may I report to work under the influence of marijuana.
