PAID TIME OFF satisfying my probationary period, I am not eligible for any PTO payout at the time of termination. PAYOUT OF PTO AT TERMINATION At termination, whether voluntary or involuntary, I will be paid for any accrued and unused PTO as of the date of termination. In the event that PTO has been paid out in excess of what has been accrued as of the date of termination, an adjustment will be made on my final paycheck to recover that overpayment. PTO APPROVAL & SCHEDULING PTO time needs to be approved by a supervisor at least two weeks in advance. At times, conflicts may arise which would not allow me to take the requested time off. Days not worked will be considered PTO time unless otherwise approved by Senior Management. PTO must be accrued before time can be taken away from work. If I need to take time off due to extenuating circumstances and have not yet accumulated the necessary PTO, the request must be reviewed by my manager and Darkhorse Tech’s owners before approval. PTO Carryover & Payout Darkhorse Tech encourages me to use PTO for rest, vacation and personal needs. However, I am permitted to carry over no more than 10 days of unused PTO from one year to the next. I may also choose to be paid out for all or some of my accrued and unused PTO at my regular pay rate at the end of each calendar year. This PTO payout will be paid on or near the last pay period of the year. 2 | PAID TIME OFF
