Employee City Email INFORMATION & SETUP Your user name is the new email address you have been issued by the City IT Department. Typically, it is the initial of your first name followed by your last name @cityofjeff.net. Example: [email protected] The password requirements are: IT 812-280-3806 Minimum of 8 characters At least one number If your account gets At least one character (?!*+@#) locked out or there Cannot reuse last 20 passwords are any password Do not use your name issues you will need to contact A passphrase password is encouraged. IT for a reset. Example: “Letsgo1992!” Avoid common phrases. Example: \"GoCards\" Passwords will need to be reset every 90 days. You will be prompted at that time to change your password, please have your old password on hand as the system will require it. Steps for New User sign-on to City email: Log-in to webmail (https://exchange.cityofjeff.net/owa) with the email address provided. Enter the temporary password “Welcome 2023!” then change the password to one of your choosing. You will now have email access. For security reasons, the link will expire within 48 hours of receipt. About Us & Our Community 7 BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE www.cityofjeff.net In 1786 Fort Finney (later named Fort Steuben) was situated where the Community Events Kennedy Bridge is located today. Designed to protect the area from Indians, a settlement grew around the fort. In 1797 the City was founded by the famous Summer Concert Series revolutionary John Paul Jones; but precisely when the settlement became Summer Fitness Classes known as Jeffersonville is unclear. In 1802 local residents used a grid pattern Farmers Market designed by President Thomas Jefferson for the formation of the city. In 1813 Food Trucks in the Parks and 1814 Jeffersonville was briefly the de facto capital of the Indiana Abbey Road on the River Territory. Its location along the Ohio River was considered the gateway to the Steamboat Nights South. Shipbuilding, railroads and a waterway were all key factors to the Downtown Trick-or-Treat City’s growth during the 19th century.
