CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW 1. What is the Healthy You, Wealthy You Campaign about? The campaign aims to encourage and support our customers to Plan Well, Live Well, Protect Well and Get Well with AIA’s Total Health & Wealth Solutions. This campaign is offering up to 3 months’ cashback on the annualised premium/contribution (“the Campaign”) for our selected plans. This is a great opportunity to approach and reconnect with your customers, and help them live Healthier, Longer and Better Lives. 2. What is the duration of the Campaign? The Campaign is valid for selected Conventional and Takaful products that are submitted between 1 July 2023 and 31 July 2023 (“the Campaign Period”) and the policy/certificate must be set in force by 16 October 2023. 3. What are the products offered under the Campaign? Remarks: a) For juvenile applications for A-Life Wealth Treasure, A-Life Joy Xtra and A-Life Idaman (pre-natal and person covered age between 0-15 years old), the policy/certificate owner is required to join AIA Vitality. b) Juvenile application is not eligible for A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder, A-Life Legasi Beyond and A-Life Kritikal Protector under the Campaign as AIA Vitality membership is only open for insured/person covered aged 16 years old and above. c) The membership fee to join AIA Vitality is only RM10 per month on top of the premium/contribution payable. d) The Vitality Health Check (VHC) event/appointment date must be within 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2024 and uploaded to My AIA app by 31 March 2024. The VHC readings on Body Mass Index, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose & Cholesterol must be within healthy range (refer to Question 21 in order to get additional 0.5 month cashback. e) The product packages above (refer to Question 4) is required to be selected in the iPoS if the customers agree to participate in the Campaign. 6. What are the terms and conditions of the Campaign? a) Campaign Period:1 July 2023 to 31 July 2023, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”). b) Eligible Products • A-LifeLink 2, A-Life Joy Xtra, A-Life Beyond Critical Care, A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder, A-Life Wealth Treasure (underwritten by AIA Bhd.); and • A-Life Idaman, A-Life Kritikal Protector, A-Life Legasi Beyond (underwritten by AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd.) c) Campaign Mechanism and Reward: Refer to Question 4 above. d) Campaign Eligibility: • The Campaign is open to all customers who purchased/participated in any of the Eligible Products with minimum annualised premium/contribution of RM4,200 during the campaign period. All applications must be submitted via iPoS during the Campaign Period and set in force by 16 October 2023. In order to qualify for the Campaign, for adult application (i.e. with entry age 16 or above), the Insured / Person Covered must be an AIA Vitality member. AIA Vitality membership must be signed up or active upon new application submission in iPoS and must be remained active prior to and upon the payment of Campaign Reward. The policy/certificate owner must also download and login to My AIA application (\"app”) latest by 31 March 2024 (“Eligible Policy/Certificate”). For juvenile application (applicable to pre-natal and/or Insured /PersonCovered with entry age 0 to 15 years old) under A- Life Joy Xtra, A-Life Idaman and A-Life Wealth Treasure the policy/certificate owner (i.e. the applicant) must join AIA Vitality . For juvenile application (applicable to Insured /Person Covered with entry age 0 to 15 years old) under A-Life Kritikal Protector, A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder and A-Life Legasi Beyond is not eligible to the Campaign as AIA Vitality membership is only open for Insured /Person Covered aged 16 years old and above. • The annualised premium/contribution is based on the total premium/contribution amount inclusive of A-Plus Saver, A-Plus Saver-i, A- Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Health Enhancer, A- Plus Enhancer-i and any rider premium/contribution. • The calculation of the cashback amount is based on annualised premium/contribution and shall EXCLUDE any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver, A-Plus Saver-i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Health Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer and AIA Vitality membership fees. • Vitality Health Check (“VHC”) must be conducted within 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2024 and the VHC Result must be uploaded into My AIA app via AIA Vitality platform latest by 31 March 2024. VHC is a quick test which consist of 4 tests i.e. Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol. • By participating in the Campaign, Customers will submit their Vitality Health Check (VHC) into My AIA app via AIA Vitality platform offered and operated by AIA Health Services Sdn. Bhd. (“AHS”). AHS will review the VHC Result submitted by Customers and will only inform AIA Bhd. and/or AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. on the Eligible Policies/Certificates that are qualified for the cashback reward. AIA Vitality Terms & Conditions shall apply. Healthy VHC Results are defined as follow: o BMI: 18.5-24.9 o Blood Pressure: <=120/80mmHg [AIA – INTERNAL]
o Blood Glucose (Fasting): <5.6mmol/L & (Random): <7.8mmol/L o Total Cholesterol: <5.2mmol/L • For customers of A-Life Wealth Treasure, A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder and A-Life Legasi Beyond who fall into any one or more of the following will not be eligible for the cashback: o Did not opt for premium/contribution payment term of 10 years & above o Did not invest in selected AIA Investment-Linked Funds as stated in Question 13, o Performed full fund switching to AIA Fixed Income Fund, AIA Dana Bon and/or A-Dana Income. • The Campaign is only applicable to application that opt to pay via payment link or AIA E-Pay (credit/debit card) for all modal premium/contribution amount. • If customers make any changes/transactions (e.g. increase of sum assured/covered or addition of rider) to the Eligible Policy/Certificate which require additional premium/contribution during the Campaign Period and/or before the payout of the Campaign Reward, the additional premium/contribution will not be qualified or counted in the Campaign. For reduction of premium/contribution, the Campaign Reward shall be based on the reduced premium/contribution provided the reduced premium/contribution is meeting the minimum annualised premium/contribution. • The Eligible Policy/Certificate will be disqualified from the Campaign in the event of: o Lapsed, surrender, termination, cancellation of the application; o Partial withdrawal; o Premium/contribution holiday; o Premium/contribution not paid up to date; o Lapsed but reinstated; or o Change of payment method to non e-payment method, on or before payout of the Campaign Reward. • Life Planner purchase is not entitled for the Campaign. Life Planner purchase means the policy/certificate owner and/or the Insured Person Covered is the Life Planner. e) Campaign Reward will be credited and reflected in the eligible policy/certificate owner’s My AIA app latest by 31 October 2024 by AIA Malaysia in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Campaign. After which, it shall be deemed as full payment and AIA Malaysia shall be released and fully discharged from further liability and demand in relation to the Campaign Reward. f) General Provisions o You are always solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information. AIA Malaysia may request for further information from you to determine the authenticity of any information provided, including whether it is fraudulent or exaggerated. o AIA Malaysia may decline the Campaign Reward entitlement in the event any of the Terms and Conditions pursuant to this Campaign is not fulfilled. No appeal(s) will be entertained. o AIA Malaysia shall have the right to decide all matters, and disputes concerning this Campaign including substituting the Campaign Reward with other form of gifts / rewards of equivalent value. o AIA Malaysia shall have the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign, and to suspend, terminate, delay or vary this Campaign with prior notice to you. (if any) of the amendment, suspension, termination, delay or variation shall be at AIA Malaysia's discretion, including but not limited to displaying the same in any of AIA Malaysia's website or social media sites. o The Campaign Reward are non-transferable and any request for Campaign Reward to be credited to a third-party account will not be entertained. 7. How and when will AIA make the cashback payment? The cashback amount will be reflected in the policy/certificate owner’s My AIA app at the end of October 2024 provided that campaign requirements are fulfilled. Instructions on how to select their cashback payout option on My AIA app will be available to customer at the end of October 2024. All customers (excluding Life Planners) are eligible to participate in the Campaign, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and full underwriting requirements. 9. How do Life Planners submit cases for the Campaign? All cases for the Campaign must be submitted via iPoS only. 10. Can a customer participate in the Campaign through a manual submission of the application? No, the Campaign is only available for applications that are submitted through iPoS. 11. Is the saver/rider premium/contribution included to calculate the minimum annualised premium/contribution criteria? Yes, the minimum annualised premium/contribution is based on the total premium/contribution amount inclusive of A-Plus Saver, A-Plus Saver-i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Health Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and any rider premium/contribution. 12. Does the cashback include any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver, A-Plus Saver-i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A- Plus Health Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and AIA Vitality fees? No, the cashback amount to be credited is not inclusive of any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver, A-Plus Saver-i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A- Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Health Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and AIA Vitality fees. 13. What are the selected AIA Investment Linked Funds that will be used in the cashback calculation for A-Life Wealth Treasure, A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder and/or A-Life Legasi Beyond? Where can Life Planners retrieve their customer leads? There will be no selected/targeted customers for the Campaign as the Campaign is open to all (existing/new) customers. 15. How will AIA handle the Vitality Health Check (VHC) results that the customer submitted to AIA Health Services Sdn. Bhd.? By participating in the Campaign, Customers will submit their VHC into the My AIA app via the AIA Vitality platform which is operated by AIA Health Services Sdn. Bhd. (“AHS”). AHS will review the submitted VHC and will only inform AIA Bhd. and/or AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. on the policies/certificates that qualify for the cashback reward. AIA Vitality Terms & Conditions shall apply. For avoidance of doubt, the VHC result will not be shared with AIA Bhd. and AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. However, customers have a duty to disclose to AIA Bhd. and AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. of any material information (for e.g. heath condition) that customers know to be material and relevant for the decision of AIA Bhd. and AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. to assess whether to accept customers’ future application for any plans offered by AIA Bhd and/or AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. POLICY/CERTIFICATE LIMITS AND UNDERWRITING 16. Is there any underwriting requirement for the Campaign? [AIA – INTERNAL]
Yes, applications submitted through the Campaign are subject to full underwriting. 17. What is the minimum Sum Assured/Covered requirement for the Campaign? There is no specific sum assured/covered to be eligible for the Campaign. Existing product minimum sum assured/covered shall apply. PREMIUM/CONTRIBUTION 18. What is the premium/contribution payment requirement for the Campaign? Only policies/certificates that are paid with payment link or AIA E-Pay (credit/debit card) for all modal premium/contribution amount will be entitled to the Campaign benefits i.e premium/contribution cashback. 19. What are the available premium/contribution payment modes? The premium/contribution payment modes available are annually, semi-annually, quarterly and monthly. 20. How does the cashback work and how is the cashback amount calculated? By joining the Campaign, customers can get up to 3 months’ cashback on the annualised premium/contribution when they fulfil the Campaign requirements (refer to Question 4 & 5). Yes, customers can change the fund allocation for A-Life Wealth Treasure, A-Life Wealth Premier, A-Life Wealth Builder and/or A-Life Legasi Beyond i.e. selected AIA Investment Linked Funds as stated in Question 13, at any time before the policy/certificate’s expiry date. However, the cashback amount to be credited will be based on the fund allocation upon policy/certificate inception or fund allocation prior to cashback crediting, whichever is lower.
