HT/ LT UNDERGROUND CABLES ABC CABLES HT / LT SINGLE CORE CABLES ALL TYPES OF CABLES STAY, DISC, POST, COMPOSITE , PIN INSULATORS TRANSFORMERS - DISTRIBUTION & POWER - Rating up to 4000 kvaPRODUCT OPTIONS :ACSR conductors consist of a solid or stranded steel core surrounded bystrands of aluminum (E.C. GRADE). ACSR conductors are available in a widerange of steel, containing carbon from 0.5% to 0.85 %. The higher strengthACSR conductors are used for river crossings, overhead ground wires, installations involving extra long spans etc. Against any given resistance ofconductor, ACSR may be manufactured within a wide range of tensile strengthas per the requirement.Key Benefits :The principal advantage of these conductors are high tensile strength so thatthey are used for longer spans with less supports. Due to the greater diameter ofACSR conductors a much higher corona limit can be obtained causing bigadvantages on high as well as extra high voltage overhead lines.Due to the greater diameter of ACSR Conductor a much higher corona limitcan be obtained causing big advantages on high as well as extra high voltageOverhead lines. The principal advantage of these conductors are high tensilestrength so that they are used for longer spans with less supports. Some of the important sizes are as under : ACSR IS -398 II :1976 & IS -398 V :1992
