Tuition and financial aid For financial aid, they have fellowships, graduate assistantships, and scholarships, grants, loans, waivers, work-study, and on-campus student employment. The requirements to get a scholarship are a New Style SAT score of 1360 total with at least a 620 Math and 660 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, or an Old style SAT score of 1300 composite with at least a 600 Math and 600 Critical Reading, ACT: 30 composite with at least 27 Math and 27 English, Academic achievement, Campus and community, activities, Leadership roles, and Employment.

It’s a campus tradition to put a penny on the foot of the Sul Ross statue for good luck on their exam.
