Nursing is a profession that focuses on individualand communitycareinachievingoptimalhealth.Anurseissomeoneif theyhavepassedhighereducationinnursingwhichisrecognizedby thegovernmentin accordancewith theprovisionsoflawsand regulations.Nursingcareprovidedbynursesisrequiredtopay attention toindividualsasbio-psycho-socio-spiritualbeingswho respondholisticallyanduniquelytochangesinhealththatoccur (Tricahyonoetal,2015).Nurseshaveanimportantroleinthehealth sector,especiallyinhelpingpatientsheal,oneoftherolesofnurses istomeetbasichumanneeds.A nursemusthaveknowledgeand skillsinthefieldofnursing.nurseshavetheauthoritytoprovide nursingcaretoothersbasedontheirknowledgeandpractice.

Holisticnurseswillmeettheneedsofpatientsintheaspects ofbiological,psychologicalandsocial.Holisticnursingservicesneed tobeimplementedwiththeaim ofimprovingservicequalityand patientsatisfaction.Intheaspectofbiology,nursesprovideservices tomaintainphysicalhealthandbodyorgansystemsthatexperience dysfunction.Nursingservicesprovidedareinbiologicalaspectsas oxygenfulfillment,nutrition,elimination,etc(Budiono,2016).Inthe socialaspect,nursesprovideservicestopatientssothattheycan carryoutsociallifesuchasinteractingwithotherpeopleandthe environmentbecausehumansaresocialcreatures(Budiono,2016). Inthepsychologicalaspect,nursesprovideservicestopatientsto maintensthepatientmentalhealth whilebeing treated in the hospitalbecausehumanshaveadynamicmindsetthatcanchange relatedtomentalhealth(Budiono,2016).

In thelineofdutyanursehasaroletointeractwith patientsto improveoptimaltheirhealthwhichincludesbeinganursingcareprovider, advocate,andeducator(SuryadiinMumu,2017).AccordingtoJumariah& Mulyadi's(2017)research,theroleofnursesasnursingcareprovidersisan importantrolebecauseitincludesacareprocessconsistingofassessment, diagnosis,planning,implementation,andevaluation.Inaddition,theroleof nursesisalsoaseducators,andadvocates.Aseducators,nurseshelppatients toimprovetheirhealthbyprovidingknowledgerelatedtotreatmentand treatmentreceivedsothatpatientsorfamiliescanacceptresponsibilityfor theseactions(DohenyinManoppo,2018).Theeducationgivenbythenurse willincreasetheclient'sknowledgeabouthow tocareandtreattheillness (Manoppoetal,2018).Asanurseadvocatehasaresponsibilitytohelpclients andtheirfamiliesinterprettheinformationfrom variousserviceproviders neededtotakeconsentfornursingactionsgiventothem anddefendand protectpatientrights.(Afidah& Sulisno,2016).

A nurse isnotan easy profession.A nurse musthave knowledgeand skillsin thefield ofnursing.Having extensive knowledgeisoneoftheimportantthingsfornursesbecausethey havetosolveapatient'sproblem bythinkingcriticallyandskillfully forthenurse.In accordancewith theirrole,nurseshavethe authority to provide nursing care to others based on their knowledgeandpractice.Asanobleprofession,oneofthegoalsof nursesistoserveandserve,justasFlorenceNightingalecaredfor thesickwithoutexpectinganythinginreturnfrom thesepatients. Therefore,weconcludethatbeinganurseisoneofthenobleduties toprovidepropercareinaccordancewiththeknowledgetothe patient.Thatisthesouloressenceofnursingitselfasagreat profession.

Nurseisa greatprofession and also a good profession in fulfillingbasichuman needs.In thiscase,thenursebecomesa holisticprofessionforeverypatient.Theroleofnursesisimportant forthepatient'shealingprocessandisafactorinhealingpatients' health problems.Knowledgeableisalsoamatterofsuccessfor nursesindealingwithapatientproblem,allhealthworkershave thesamegoalforpatient'smainhealthpriority.Inaddition,nurses musthavecriticalthinkinganddexterityinhandlingemergency matters for patient safety.Nurses can greet with greetings, accompanythepatient'sanxietywithgentleandpolitewords,are ableto createa comfortableenvironment,patientprivacy,and providepositiveexpectations.
