There are eight planets in the Solar system. Some of these planets are gaseous and the others are rocky in nature. Speak to your elders/look up the internet/read books and collect information about any one planet (which interests you the most) in detail and compile the information either in a scrapbook/Ppt. You can draw pictures/paste cutouts/share videos/write the findings to compile the information collected by you. Your observation/research can be based on the following criteria: ❖ Name of the planet ❖ Kind of planet (gaseous/rocky) ❖ Shape ❖ Size ❖ Distance from the Sun ❖ Number of satellites in the planet
Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius of about nine and a half times that of Earth. It has only one-eighth the average density of Earth; however, with its larger volume, Saturn is over 95 times more massive. Saturn is not the only planet to have rings, but none are as spectacular or as complex as Saturn's.
Saturn is a gas-giant planet and therefore Satduroneissa ngaostgiahntapvlaeneat thseorelifdoresduoresfnaoct ehavleikaesoliEdasurrtfahc'esli.ke Ear But it might have a solid core somewhere in there. In comparison, its polar diameter is only 108,728 km (67,560 miles), or 10 percent smaller, which makes Saturn the most oblate (flattened at the poles) of all the planets in the solar system. Its oblate shape is apparent even in a small telescope.
From an average distance of 886 million miles (1.4 billion kilometers), Saturn is 9.5 astronomical units away from the Sun (1.4761 billion km).Saturn has 82 moons. Fifty-three moons are confirmed and named and another 29 moons are awaiting confirmation of discovery and official naming. Saturn's moons range in size from larger than the planet Mercury — the giant moon Titan — to as small as a sports arena.
