ABOUT US Riyaaz Qawwali represents the unique diversity and plurality of South Asia. The ensemble’s musicians, who are settled in the United States, hail from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, andBangladesh and represent multiple religious and spiritual backgrounds. Trained in eastern and western classical music, themembers have been professionally performing qawwali for the past twelve years. With conservativegrowth and heightened attention to quality, Riyaaz Qawwali has performed across the continental U.S., in Panama and Europe.
INTERFAITH USA Every USA religious group is particular and exceptional in its own particular manner. This collaborative series aims to highlight different art mediums and encourage upcoming artists, andchallenge the normal and accepted ways art is currently viewed/consumed.
