Frosting This acid etching process gives the glass the “iced effect” mostly requested for skin care packaging. hot Foil stamping Hot foil stamping really helps a closure to catch the light and bring attention to its individuality. Using highly accurate printing techniques this high reflective printing technology is more accessible than ever before.104

metallisationMetallisation makes it possible to reproduce the appearance of any metal or to give coloured coatings ametallic finish. printingMany clients request printing on bottles either to provide a more premium look than labels or to have anintricate design added that covers more of the surface area than a label can. Screen printing offers a highquality and robust solution for premium products. Thermal transfer labelling allows photographic qualityprinting for image graphics for that premium no-label look. 105

spraying This process sprays a light coating of colour onto the surface of the glass. This can either be solid colour or transparent coats, matt or glossy and part-coating to achieve a fade-out look. Continental Bottle Company Ltd are able to utilise all of these coatings.106
