Messages from the Deputy Sports Prefect & Deputy CCA PrefectDevendra Singh Being appointed as the Deputy Sports Prefect of the school, I feel that I am responsible forDeputy Sports Prefect providing a vast platform to the sports lovers of the school. I vouch to dedicate my effort to inculcating, nurturing and grooming the skills like teamwork, leadership and pactience in the pupils of the school. I will be instrumental in organizing intra and inter school sports events in the school. I will never fail my seniors who trusted my potential and raised me to an important post. Brahmam BodhiI am elated to be given the opportunity to be the Juhi BhandariDeputy CCA Prefect of the school. Co curricularactivities supplement and complement the Deputy CCA Prefectcurricular activities. These are a vital part of astudent life which strengthen the classroomlearning. OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT 1st December 2017Bodhi International School organized the 2nd Bodhi International Open TennisTournament from 1st December to 3rd December 2017. The matches were playedunder the following categories:Boys - Singles : Under 10. Under 12, Under 16.Doubles : under 16.Girls - Singles : Under 16.More than 100 emerging tennis stars participated in almost 150 matches that wereplayed in the course. The test of endurance, acumen and strength gave a wonderfultreat to the eyes of the spectators. AIR SHOW 5th December 2017Students of grades 7 to 10 visited the Air Force Station to witnessthe splendid Air Show. The veteran pilots of the Surya Kiransperformed awe striking aerobatics. The varied formations bythe aircrafts were breathtakingly interesting. After the show,the students interacted with the pilots to gain knowledge andinformation about the career aspect.

FABLES NARRATION 7th December 2017Fables are a significant part of growing up. Children love tolisten to and narrate fictitious tales with animals aspersonified characters.To celebrate this rejoicing moment of childhood, students ofgrades 1 to 3 had Fables Day. They had learnt a fable of theirchoice and narrated it before the class; a few dramatised theirfable. It was a remarkable presentation by the students.

CAROL CONCERT 08th December 2017The kindergarten phase of the school organized a carolsinging event to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Thechildren sang and danced on the enchanting tunes ofbeautiful Christmas carols. From Jingle bells to Joy to theworld, kids showed their zeal, enthusiasm and love for thefestival.

CHRISTMAS PARTY 15th December 2017The year 2017 is progressing to the last gala festival of the year-Christmas, and children across the globe are eagerly waiting for theirfriend Santa to give them presents. The children of the kindergartenphase of the school are also curious for their gifts; this is how theyremember Christmas. To learn more about the festival, they visited St.Theresa's Catholic Church where the Rev Father narrated the story ofJesus' birth. He recited prayers for the welfare of Bodhian kids and itsstaff. Kids also prayed alongwith the Father. Bodhian teachers litcandles before the deity and prayed for the well being of all.

CLAY ART 15th December 2017The students of grades 1 and 2 had an interesting sessionwith clay. Their small dainty fingres designed the clay inbeautiful shapes of snowman and christmas tree. Thisactivity inspired them to think creatively to fosterartistic excellence and aesthetic appeal.

STUDENT COUNCIL OATH CEREMONY 15th December 2017‘Leadership is an indispensible part of learning.'The school witnessedthe most prestigious and formal ceremony- The InvestitureCeremony- in which the newly appointed student council wasentrusted with the responsibility of their offices. They have sworn intheir offices and received badges and sashes for the same. The unfurledthe school flag in the center and the house flags to its side created apicturesque sight. The beautifully adorned office bearers stoodproudly to respect the position earned by them. The Head Boy,Lakshya Bothra and the Head Girl, Meghal Jain addressed thegathering in which they assured to safeguard the interest of the studentcommunity and work as a catalyst towards the growth of the school.

4th ANNUAL FUNCTION 23rd December 2017Rigorous practice of a month reached its contended fruition when the 4thAnnual Day of Bodhi International School culminated on 23rd December 2017.Navrasa- the nine emotions entwining Gautam Buddha's life- was staged in akaleidoscopic manner. The hoedown enchanted the chief guest, Dr JayshreePeriwal, other eminent guests and the parents to a fathomless extent. The zestfulpresentation of the students had an overwhelming impact on the audience.Students who exemplified in academics, sports and co-curricular activities wereawarded.
