GLUP4173 – JURISPRUDENCE GLUP4183 – LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: NUR AFFIERA ALIA ASMA BINTI AHMAD SABRI MATRIC NO: 254317 Item Elaboration Description As everything is being conducted online, the process of serving learning this semester is quite different from previous years. It is a bit tougher for me as I had issue with slow internet Describe what you have connection. However, everything still went smoothly as I have a very supportive and helpful experienced during the group members. My friends and I from group 4 have been assigned with the topic of Hibah process of SL, what have ‘Umra. We have conducted our discussion during this e-service learning through various you conducted for your SL? mediums such as Whatsapp, Zoom Meeting, Webex. For the first stage which is the process of investigation, we were required to gather information about the topic through action research which includes interview of experts and surveys of varied population. Direct observation and personal experience also have been conducted to gather the information. My friends and I firstly did the research through books and online resources to find more information regarding Hibah ‘Umra as this topic is unfamiliar for all of us. To learn about this topic in depth, we have contacted a few numbers of legal experts. We had faced several challenges while looking for the experts to be interviewed. For instance, we had set up an interview session with a lawyer but unfortunately, he was not able to make it, thus we had to find other lawyers to be interviewed. The most challenging part was when I was rejected by more than 5 lawyers during this first stage, but it was a fun experience anyway. Our group then finally managed to interview a Syarie lawyer, Mr. Muhammad Nazmi Kamis from Messrs. Azhar & Associates through Zoom meeting. As for the survey, we have circulated the survey we did on Google form through Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter. We first submitted the draft of the questions for the survey to Madam Ain Husna, our beloved Law of Succession and Probate lecturer for her to go through and check for us. After the questions have been finalised, we distributed the form and manage to draw a conclusion regarding the knowledge of the public about Hibah ‘Umra. Through this interview, research, and survey, I finally had a clue and idea about what Hibah ‘Umra is. For the second part which is the preparation stage, every group were required to set up an event page on the main Facebook page for this e-service learning namely, Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate. During this stage, we have prepared several posters, infographics as well as videos regarding our main event which was held on 23 November 2020. We believe that this is one of the best ways to notify the public regarding our event as well as sharing more knowledge regarding Hibah ‘Umra. We have also contacted with Dr Fauziah binti Mohd Noor, a senior lecturer to be the honourable speaker for our live session. Several questions also have been sent to Dr Fauziah to ensure that everything goes smoothly as she might need to do some preparation on her part too. For the third stage, action, we have carried out our Facebook live session on 23 November 2020 at 8.00pm. The event, namely, Hibah Umra: Tahukah Anda? has been attended and supported by a lot of people from different background. As I faced with internet connection

difficulties, two of my good friend, Nur Syuhada and Nur Ashieda Shamimi have volunteered themselves to be the moderators for the live session. Morgan, Raihanah and Afaf were the strongest backbones as they were there at the backstage handling the technical part. Whereby, Haafizhah and I were taking part on the comment section on Facebook to interact with the audience and acknowledge their participation. We were so overwhelmed with the supports given by them. The event went really smooth from the beginning until the end. We firstly begin the live session by introducing the honourable speaker, Dr Fauziah, catching up with question and answer session with her as well the audience. We also have prepared quiz for the audience through Quizizz regarding our topic to ensure that the audience were really taking part and understood our topic. The prizes given by our group were really interesting. We have given RM50 as the grand prize and two Tealive e-gift cards for the winners. This is also one of the strategies to attract the public to participate on our event. At the end of this stage, after we have done with the live session, we have conducted a quick meeting to congratulate each and everyone in our group for successfully making the live event happened. Feelings I am utterly grateful to be in the same group with my group members as they are very helpful, creative, full of dedication and very hardworking. Even though this project is being conducted Write your feelings, emotions virtually, we still manage to make it till the end. I was quite nervous during the first stage as I and thoughts pertaining to thought that I could not contribute much because of my poor internet connection. This is those experiences and because all of the meetings we had were conducted online and there were times that I was activities, how do you feel unable to participate as I had trouble logging in. Luckily, my friends were all helpful and towards SL? willingly offering themselves to help me. They even explained to me if there is anything that I missed on the discussion. As to the most challenging part during this project, for me, it was during the investigation stage. I personally have contacted with a few lawyers and was rejected by all of them. It has been more than 5 lawyers which I think it was quite funny but sad at the same time. This is because the first lawyer that has agreed to be interviewed by us had to cancel it last minute. However, it is still a fun leaning session for me. Besides that, I also manage to find myself more knowledge about Hibah ‘Umra. I am also very happy to be able to educate the public, especially my family and my fellow friends who are not in the legal field. Therefore, I believe that this project has given me the opportunity to educate the public and gain as much as knowledge myself although it is done virtually. Evaluation and Analysis Throughout this project, I think one of my strengths is being an active team player at contributing to team success. I also find myself effectively working under pressure. For Evaluate and analyse your instance, even if my friends and I faced several difficulties and challenges throughout this own strengths and project, I still manage to keep myself calm but proactive at the same time. Furthermore, if weaknesses that you can there is anything that we did last minute, I still find myself able to handle things quickly and identify throughout the efficiently. Plus, by having great team members also make it easier to get all the task done. process of SL, your Therefore, I am very grateful for that. Besides that, I also think that being an easy-going perceptions towards yourself person helps a lot especially in team working task. This is because, when there is in relation to SL, whether SL misunderstanding on certain issues, I find myself as an easy person to be deal with and able can help you to enhance to adapt with the situation efficiently with my group members. your own potential, how does SL benefits you, how With regard to the weaknesses, I think it relates with the online learning process. I think it was did you handle the problems a bit difficult for me to adapt with the current service learning as everything is done virtually. or challenges that you faced There is one time where I almost gave up as there is too many tasks to be done at the same during SL.

time. I also had to drive from my house to another place to ensure that I was able to attend the meeting conducted by my friends. However, my group members were really considerate and understanding. We managed to help each other through the tough times. Plus, I was once thought that this e-service learning could have been done easier if it is conducted face to face just like how our previous seniors did before. This is because, to done everything virtually is very challenging and tiring. Thus, I believe that if things are not on my side where I could not handle it efficiently is also one of my weaknesses. However, I also cannot deny the fact that this e-service leaning helps a lot in enhancing my own potential and ability as an individual. It really benefits me in terms of encouraging me to strive for the better and never giving up. With the help of others, I can surely achieve so many good things in learning. I realised that it is better to work with great team members rather than working personally. I also find myself able to handle things efficiently and effectively under pressure and I have learned that all of the challenges faced by my friends and I throughout this project will surely shape us to a way better person emotionally and academically. Conclusion and Action In conclusion, I think the most crucial value that I have gained during this project is teamwork. Plan Without my amazingly dedicated group members, I would have not been able to do everything individually. This is because, in our group, we all have the same goals, the same objectives Acknowledge what you have to be achieved. It all depends on the quality of each other’s work to make it an excellent work. learned from your By working effectively as a team also has taught me that everything can be done faster and experience and how would efficiently. We also manage to cooperate and learn with each other. you do it differently next time. Besides that, in relation to our topic which is Hibah ‘Umra, I am very happy to be able to learn about this topic in depth. I will definitely use this knowledge I have to educate the public, family and friends. Last but not least, I really hope that in future, this project will be conducted face to face so that I can enhance my communication skills with the public and not just only through online medium. This way I can surely prepared myself more than I did during this project as I will have to deal with people face to face rather than virtually. However, all in all I think this project is a huge success for me as well as my team members. We manage to make it work from the beginning towards the end of it. Therefore, I am really thankful for the lecturers to have given us this opportunity and guiding us to conduct the e-service learning successfully.

GLUP 4173 – JURISPRUDENCE GLUP 4183 – LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP 4223 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTIONS REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: NUR ASHIEDA SHAMIMI BINTI LATANRANG MATRIC NO: 253942 Item Elaboration Description The education institutions in Malaysia is all effected by the widespread of Corana Viruses (C- 19). With that, all universities including UUM conducts Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Describe what you have School of Law decided to conduct the project of E-Service Learning Malaysia University for experienced during the Society (E-SULAM) for our final year project. This project is a replacement of final exams for process of SL, what have three subjects which are Law of Probate and Succession, Alternative Dispute and Resolution you conducted for your SL? and also Jurisprudence. I am a member of Group 4 for this project and the topic that we decided to pick is with regards to Hibah Umra’. We are required to spread awareness about Hibah Umra’ to the public. There are 5 stages in this project which are Investigation, Preparation, Action, Reflection and Demonstration. The first stage that we conducted is Investigation. In this stage, we are instructed to run a public survey pertaining to Hibah Umra’. We made questionnaires and contributed it for the public and we closed the response for the survey once we achieved 30 respondents. The survey was done after me and my team members did our research on the subject matter. After the survey is done, we are required to manage an interview with a Syarie’ lawyer in order to gain more knowledge pertaining to Hibah Umra’ . We are supposed to conduct the interview with Mr. Amir Khusyairi of Messrs Amir Khusyairi & Associates. However, he cancelled the interview due to urgent matters. Due to the cancellation, all of my team members worked hard to find his replacement. We tried to contact all available lawyers to be interviewed. We were rejected by 13 lawyers but Alhamdulillah, Mr. Nazmi came to the rescue. He is willing to spend one hour to share his knowledge about Hibah Umra’. After the public survey and interview, we made a short report about our topic on our Blog. We also upload the edited version of our Interview on YouTube so that the public can access the video whenever they want. Next stage is Preparation. In this stage, we are being told to prepare for our Live Event and the date we choose to do the event is on 23rd November 2020. The Live is conducted on the main Facebook page of E-Sulam which is Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate. We decided to divide the task for a fair contribution. Some of my team members made posters, gifs, promotion videos and cute infographics and we spread

the information until 23rd November to attract the public to join our Live Event. We also decided to choose Dr. Fauziah Mohd Noor as our honourable Speaker for the Live Event. My role is to be a moderator. We practice hard in terms of technicalities and communication for the event. We only stop practicing one hour before the real event. In order for the Live Event to be entertaining we prepared quizzes and gifts for the Top 3 winners of the game. The grand prize is cash amounted RM 50.00 while runner up and second runner up won Tealive e-gift cards The third stage called Action. The Live Event is conducted on 23rd November at 8.00 PM. We are separated into 3 teams during the event. Me and Syuhada became the moderators on the talk of Hibah Umra’ with Dr. Fauziah as the Speaker. Afaf, Morgan and Raihana are in charge of the backstage team on Streamyard where they control all of the slides, quizzes and technicality of the event while Hafizhaa and Affiera volunteered to reply all responses, comments and inquiry from the audiences in the comment section. After the Live Event, we hold a short meeting to celebrate the live event. The fourth stage is Reflection. In this stage, we need to write about our feelings and evaluated the project and how it affects us. The last stage is Demonstration where we share the blog and the outcome of our project to the public. Feelings Personally, I have mixed feelings about this project. First of all, during the first stage of the project. My group was supposed to conduct the interview with Mr. Amir Khusyairi but since Write your feelings, emotions he cancelled the interview for urgent matter we need to find a replacement. It went hard as and thoughts pertaining to we were rejected by so many lawyers. I’m honestly disappointed but it was actually kind of those experiences and funny as we seek for his replacement on various platforms and yet none of them are available activities, how do you feel but I am so happy when one of my group members said Mr.Nazmi is willing to be interviewed towards SL? by us immediately. Although we only got one hour as soon as he replied to our request, I am so grateful as the interview went well and I also learned new knowledge with regards to Hibah Umra’ and how important the instrument is for our society. I think the hardest part for me is during the preparation stage because I almost give up. We usually practice for our Live Event at night as we are busy with classes and other assignments during the day. I found it hard as my internet connection is slow at night and I’m so worried if my internet suddenly disconnected during the FB Live Event because I know it will affect our event as I am one of the moderators. I am so frustrated due to my internet connection at night. I used 2 different telecommunications for the rehearsal but both telcos were slow. There was this one night, I moved around my house just to find a perfect place for a stable internet connection to join our practice session for the Live Event but it still wasn't working. Not long after that, I brought my laptop and my mother drove me around my

neighborhood in hopes of a strong internet connection. I almost give up but then I ask permission from Aunt Sarina (my mother’s youngest sister) to practice and conduct the Live Event at her house. Thankfully, she gave permission to do so. I spent a night over there to do a full practice before the Live Event. On 23rd November, I brought all of my equipment such as a laptop, speaker, mini table and extension in preparation for the Live Event. I set up all of them one hour early before the event on air. I am so grateful that the event went smoothly. As for being a moderator, I’m a little bit anxious and nervous as it has been a while since the last time I spoke in front of so many people. Although I can’t see the face of the audience but It is pretty nerve wracking as I know we have a lot of audiences watching us live and I am afraid that I am suddenly disconnected during the event. I am so thankful as I know I did well when a few of my friends text me after the event telling me that I have done a very good job as a moderator in conducting the live event. I am so tired with all of the preparations and went back and forth from my home to my aunts’ but it is worth it because I think I nailed my role as a moderator. Evaluation and Analysis The challenges that I am facing throughout E-Sulam made me identify my own strengths and weaknesses and how to overcome these challenges. One of my strengths is I am a strong Evaluate and analyse your willed person. I never give up on trying out solutions to overcome my challenge. As a proof, I own strengths and can easily make excuses and give up on my role as moderator due to my internet connection weaknesses that you can problem at night. However, I found a solution by spending a night and conducting the live identify throughout the event in Aunt Sarina’s house and my effort turned out great as the event went smoothly process of SL, your without any interference along the way. perceptions towards yourself in relation to SL, whether SL My next strength is communication skills. Communication skills are really important in can help you to enhance conducting a group project. I learn that I have the skill to communicate my group members your own potential, how and if there are problems with the project, all of us try to overcome it by communicate wisely does SL benefits you, how and giving out our opinions without hurting anyone feelings. Apart from that, my did you handle the problems communication skills also radiate during the live event. I firmly believe that I engaged well or challenges that you faced with my fellow moderator, speaker, the audience and the backstage team during the live during SL. event. As for weakness that I can identified is I am really not good in making and editing videos, blogs and posters. I actually can make posters and videos but I am not as good as my other members. Those who are in charge in our promotional videos, gift, posters, brochure and blog are Affiera and Raihana. One of my way to overcome this is I try to be responsive as much as I can when they in need for some helps. For example, me and my friends comes out with the idea on what kind of information that we should put on the blogs, posters and videos.

From my point of view, E-Sulam benefits me by polishing my communication skills. I did join debate before but this time, it is another different kind of experiences as I learn how to moderate an academic live event. I never did any live events even for fun on my social medias. Hence, E-Sulam teach me on how to organize a live academic programme via Streamyard. It also benefits me by becoming a committed person. I learn how to manage my times in conducting this project and at the same time attending classes and doing another assignment. Apart from that, this project also benefits me by enhancing my problems solving skills to find solutions in order to overcome my challenges. Conclusion and Action I learned a lot throughout this project. First and foremost, I learned a lot with regards to Plan teamwork. Collaboration within a group can help solve difficult problems. Brainstorming is a good opportunity for the team to exchange ideas and come up with creative ways of doing Acknowledge what you have things. By working together, me and my friends can find the solutions that work best. We learned from your acknowledge that each member has their own difficulties especially pertaining to their experience and how would responsibilities as a child in the family and internet connection. We learn how to be more you do it differently next considerate to each other and find the suitable time for our group meetings so that everyone time. can participate and involved. When one team member falls behind, there is another to pick up the pieces. Besides, I also learn how to explore technologies. I am not a tech savvy, but this project teaches me to explore websites such as Blog, Canva, Streamyard, Padlet and many other platforms. Although, I am proud that I learn something that outside my comfort zone with the help of my group members and respective lecturers, and I believe that me and my batchmates are the pioneer for E-Sulam by conducting everything online but in the future, it would be better if this kind of project will be conducted physically because I can interact and spread awareness with regards to Hibah Umra’ physically. However, I know that this project is done online due to C-19 but I am still grateful to learn new skills and gain knowledge through this online project.

GLUP4173 – JURISPRUDENCE GLUP4183 – LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: RAIHANAH BINTI ARIFF MATRIC NO.: 252815 Item Elaboration Description Throughout 7 weeks of conducting online service learning, E-SULAM, I have went-through 3 stages of service learning with my team members. Describe what you have experienced during the The first stage in service learning is investigation stage. During this stage, we process of SL, what have you required to choose a topic for us to discuss further with society. We have to conduct an conducted for your SL? interview with lawyer which mastered in our topic, Hibah ‘Umra. Besides that, we also need to distribute public survey for the purpose of our research as this service learning purposely made to give awareness to society about Hibah ‘Umra. We have interviewed a Sharie Lawyer from Messrs Nazmi Azhar & Associates, Mr. Nazmi Kamis. We supposedly to conduct an interview with Mr. Amir Khusyairi from Messrs Amir Khusyairi & Associates for this first stage. However, due to some inconvenience, he had to cancel our appointment a day before the actual day of interview. Thus, that was a crucial time for us to find a new lawyer to be interviewed for our first stage. We used whatever networking that we built before this, we contacted every lawyer that we knew from doing un- official internship during last semester breaks, our UUM law seniors which have been appointed as advocates and solicitors. We also find solutions by contacted well-known lawyers through Twitter and Facebook. However, all of them were not available to be interviewed. Luckily, after been rejected for more than 10 lawyers, alhamdulillah one of our team members, Afaf finally could find a lawyer from her contacts which is Mr. Nazmi Kamis. After had an interviewed with the lawyer and collected data from the public survey about the Hibah ‘Umra, we can summarize that our knowledge and public awareness about the existence of Hibah ‘Umra is at low stake. The second stage for service learning is preparation. In this stage, we required to setup a page event on the main Facebook page of service learning known as Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate. We need to do preparations for our public event to give awareness about Hibah ‘Umra in stage 3. Thus, in this stage we need to design infographic, made promotional videos, posters in order to attract public to join our Facebook Live session which being scheduled. We decided to assign each person to do one task as in this stage, it requires a lot of things to be done. For instance, I designed the infographic posters, promotional posters, prepared gifts for our participations and even edited the promotional videos for my team. While my team members, do other tasks like prepare the questions to be used during Facebook Live session, find information about our speaker, find a speaker for our Facebook Live and others. Finally, Dr. Fauziah Mohd Noor, a Senior Lecturer in School of Law previously and later transferred to School of Islamic Business, willingly to be our sole speaker for our event on 23rd November 2020 at 8:00pm. During this stage, we promote our event through Twitter,

Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. We also do rehearsal every night for a week before the actual day of the event, in order to ensure that everything will be run smoothly. The third stage for service learning is an action. As the actual Facebook Live session was on 23rd November 2020 at 8:00pm, alhamdulillah our event went smoothly and successfully without any problems. We have our own reason why we choose 23rd November 2020 and 8pm for our event. It is because, on that day it is Monday night because we forecast that there will be more participations because it is working days and the next day there is no classes for UUM students and during night more people actively using Facebook. During the event, I was the one who worked at the backstage which control and choose the questions. So, I can see more participations from society rather than our batchmates, Law students. They bombarded our speaker with questions regarding HIbah ‘Umra. It showed that they interested with our topic and they want to know more about Hibah ‘Umra as I said before, the awareness about this topic towards society is low. I also amazed to see an enormous numbers of participations in game that we prepared during the live session as the gifts offered are valuable. The grand prize which is RM50 cash was sponsored by my mother, Mrs. Faezah while other two gifts which are Tealive e-gift cards, we decided to share the money for that gifts. We also distributed a google form to collect the feedbacks from the audiences of our Facebook Live session. Thus, we can summarize that we reap what we sow. It is because our Facebook Live session was a success and our preparations that we did during stage 2 were useful. Feelings I have mixed feelings when the lecturers from three courses about this service learning. Happy, sad, anxious and etc. Write your feelings, emotions and thoughts pertaining to At first stage, I am worried to contact the syarie lawyer for our interview session about those experiences and Hibah ‘Umra. As I am not good at build networking and communicate with strangers, so I am activities, how do you feel not confident to contact strangers to be our interviewee. Although during last semester break, towards SL? I have done my unofficial internship at law firm, however my prior law firm was not doing syarie disputes as they only focused on conveyancing. So, I need to be brave and need to find and contact lawyers in social media, Twitter as our main interviewee, Mr. Amir Khusyairi cancelled last minute due to some problems. My heart is content during second stage. It is because for this stage, we need to prepare for our Facebook Live event. As I was assigned to do the infographics, promotional videos, create website and so on, I am happy to do it. It is because designing and coding are my forte and I love it when my team members give full trust for me to be creative. Besides that, I am more than thankful when Dr. Fauziah agreed to be our speaker for our event although I have contacted my cousin who previously graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo and currently worked in Perak Islamic Religion Department but he could not make it. Next, our event had been held on 23rd November 2020 and a week before the day, my team and I had done several times of rehearsal every night to ensure that everything runs according to our plan. However, we had some problems during this stage as most of my team members, including me were having bad connection internet due to bad weather. Besides that, we also need to change our medium for our quiz as we had run couple of time of rehearsals and we found out that it is not convenient to conduct games by using Kahoot! Platform, so we decided to do the games using Quizziz platform. But, alhamdulillah during

the Facebook Live event everything runs smoothly. I am surprised to be honest when I saw a lot of participations from public in our event as I handled behind the stage. As I am the one who choose the questions from the audiences, we were flooded with questions and it was hard for me to choose the best among the best questions to be asked to our speaker. Evaluation and Analysis There are few of strengths and weaknesses that I can figured through this service learning. One of the strengths is I am pretty good and confident to approach strangers. It is because Evaluate and analyse your throughout this service learning processes, I have approached several lawyers to be our own strengths and speaker and interviewee for your event. Before this, I will have anxiety when it comes to weaknesses that you can communicate with strangers. However, through this service learning I can overcome this identify throughout the anxiety problem. Besides that, I think other strength that I still can coding and build a website process of SL, your for my group from scratch. The last time I did coding was several years ago. I am amazed perceptions towards yourself with my capabilities to coding and designing infographic posters and video in limited period. in relation to SL, whether SL can help you to enhance For challenges, I found out that I am quite not good using Streamyard platform for your own potential, how conducting the Facebook Live event. It is because that was my first time using that platform. does SL benefits you, how However, slowly I know to use that platform because my partner, Afaf teaches me on how to did you handle the problems use that thing. Besides that, during the event my laptop suddenly lagged and crashed and I or challenges that you faced could not share screen for games although based on our plan, that was my task. Luckily, Afaf during SL. took over my task. Besides that, bad internet connection also one of the challenges that my team members and I had during this service learning. I analyse that my team members and I have good cooperation in overcome all those problems such as finding the new replacement interviewee for our interview session. We give and take towards each other. It is because when one of our moderators, Nur Ashieda Shamimi and Nur Syuhada having internet connection, we have back up plan which is Morgan will be our moderator. Same goes to me and Afaf, if Afaf having sudden internet connection, I will cover her part. Conclusion and Action In conclusion, this service learning had taught me many new things such as I experienced Plan using Streamyard and that was my first time conducted Facebook Live event. Furthermore, that was my first time work with Afaf in a group assignment and surprisingly we can be good Acknowledge what you have partner. Besides that, this service learning also helped me a lot to overcome my inferiority learned from your complex problem. For instance, I am no longer feel anxious to approach strangers. experience and how would you do it differently next For action plan, I would like to suggest everything must have back up plan. For instance, time. if your friends have sudden problem internet, other people may be can cover your part. Besides that, I think our group can improve our quality of our Facebook Live event by providing more interesting gifts for games and inviting more knowledgeable speakers to discuss the topic more depth. Generally, I believe that service learning like our event can be conducted virtually in order to give awareness to public about succession and probate. It is not impossible to do service learning although it is not face-to-face communication. It is new norm. Everything can be conducted virtually.

GLUP4173-JURISPUDENCE GLUP418- - LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233- ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: AFAF BINTI AZZAHAR MATRIC NO. 255677 Item Elaboration Description During the first stage, we had trouble finding a lawyer to be interviewed. We were rejected so Describe what you have many times. Since our topic is on Hibah Umra, it is quite difficult to find a shari’e lawyer experienced during the because most of us had connection or know someone who practices civil law. Since I have process of SL, what have background in religious school, I tried to contact my senior who is now a practising shari’e you conducted for your lawyer. She agreed to be interviewed at first and we were so happy but soon it became a SL? tragedy again when she had to cancel as she had to go to the court next day. I tried to contract my other senior, but she is not yet a lawyer, and she gave me another lawyer’s number. In short, I have been rejected by lawyers for like five times and finally, Tuan Nazmi agreed to be interviewed although it was a very short notice. In second stage, each of us has our own role. I am so glad that everyone in my group is really committed to do their job. We have designer, editor, copy writer, and an incharge to contact the speaker. My job is to handle the FB page because I am an editor and I am responsible for any posts made by me in the FB page. The third stage is the most nerve-wrecking one. We practised a few days everyday before the D-Day and I am even more nervous during the live. We had a few problems during the rehearsal because none of us had a stable connection. I was one of those that handle the backstage such as the slides, inviting guests and speaker. At first, I had total control on backstage but after two times of I suddenly kicked from StreamYard, I invited two of my groupmates to join the backstage so that they can cover me incase something happen during the live. But thankfully everything went well. The laptop of the person who should be handling the game session got stuck during the live, and I managed to cover it. I am so glad everything went well during the live. Feelings SL carries a lot of marks; hence I do not want to flop this. I am so glad that my groupmates Write your feelings, are all very hardworking one and helpful also. My experiences during the SL have thought emotions and thoughts me how to conduct a survey, how to reach speaker, and how to communicate with pertaining to those groupmates during stress time. But to be honest, we had a lot of fun instead of stress. experiences and activities, I still remember the feeling of nervousness after we were unable to find lawyer, and once how do you feel towards Tuan Nazmi agreed to be interviewed, I happily informed my groupmates but of course we SL? were very shocked because it was a very last minute one. I think the most relieving moment was after we end the live, I felt like a heavy burden has been lifted out of me. It was a very emotional moment, indeed. Evaluation and Analysis My strength is I can work with others although it was the first time being in the same group Evaluate and analyse as them. Although I needed some time to get comfortable with them but I manage to adapt your own strengths and well on time.My weakness is I do not have the confidence to speak in public. I was chosen weaknesses that you can as a backup moderator but honestly, I do not think I can pull it off. I can speak in front of the identify throughout the class during the presentation but to speak in front of strangers, on FB Live? That thought

process of SL, your scares me the most. Moreover, I am not familiar with our topic and I am afraid if I might say perceptions towards unnecessary thing during the live. My perception towards myself is, I feel insecure as if I have yourself in relation to SL, not done much for my group but I keep reminding myself that as long as I done my job, then whether SL can help you that means it is still an achievement. to enhance your own potential, how does SL SL has taught me that I am more suitable to do behind the scene job. I might not be suitable benefits you, how did you to go outside and meet new people. But that does not mean I do not want to meet new people. handle the problems or Sometimes, I do feel like meeting new people. SL benefits me in a sense that it carries lots challenges that you faced of marks, and since it is a group work, I feel at ease since I believe that everyone of us have during SL. done a very good job. Of course, there are times when I had challenge in completing this SL such as my internet connection. To back up my Wi-Fi, I bought data plan with hotspot, incase my Wi-Fi had problem again. But somehow, the hotspot is not strong enough and I was very nervous during that time because I was the one handling the slides, and without me the rehearsal could not start. But luckily my Wi-Fi got connected again. Other than that, I had to repair my phone and I am unable to communicate with my groupmates during the period because my sister’s number that I gave to them is actually inactive. It was not that long because few days later I got my phone back and that very day I posted a post on the FB page. I should admit that I was very lost in the E-Sulam WhatsApp conversation because there were too many, but I managed to digest everything. Conclusion and Action I have learned how to use StreamYard and actually there are various of ways to make a form Plan other than Google Form. Nowadays, everything needs to be creative to attract people’s Acknowledge what you attention and my experience in SL has definitely taught me how to make an attractive poster, have learned from your video, and slides. My groupmates really have golden hand in making those stuffs, and I experience and how learned a lot from them. I hope after this I can apply those new knowledge and skills in my would you do it differently job. next time.

GLUP4173- JURISPRUDENCE GLUP4183- LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233- ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: NUR SYUHADA BINTI ZULKAPLE MATRIC NO.: 254586 Item Elaboration Description For the three stages of E-SULAM that we have done so far, I have experienced a lot of things with my team members throughout this process. Describe what you have experienced during the During Stage 1 which is the investigation, I have experienced on how to communicate with a professional legal practitioner as for this stage we decided to find a process of SL, what have lawyer to be interviewed for our topic which is Hibah ‘Umra. My group members and I are you conducted for your SL? together in finding a suitable lawyer for this topic. For me, during this process what I have experienced is we know how to communicate and use a very formal language as we deal with someone in a professional background. The process was tough as we have asked so many lawyers to be interviewed but as most of them are very busy, so we need to ask the other lawyers. We have asked more than 10 lawyers to be interviewed for stage 1. Therefore, I think the process to communicate with a lawyer is something interesting and we have learnt a lot during this process. Moreover, I have experienced how teamwork is very important especially when we work under a pressure. As for stage 1, the lawyer that has confirmed us that he agreed to be interviewed suddenly has an urgent matter on that day. We were so frustrated as the last day for the submission of stage 1 was just in two days. However, my group has a very great teamwork which we are together in finding a new lawyer to be interviewed for. We support and help each other during this last-minute time and luckily, we have found the other lawyer that agreed to help us on this project. What I can say is I am very proud with the great teamwork by my group members. During Stage 2 which is the preparation, this is my first time to experience how to conduct an online event with my group members. Everyone is giving their very best to make this event successful. We are required to give public an awareness regarding our topic through FB Live session. Therefore, we have posted infographic, promotional video, poster and other in the main FB Page for this project to attract as many public as we can to watch our live session on 23rd November 2020. Everyone else also took part in each task that has been assigned. My group members are very helpful in designing poster, making video and so on as I have no talent in designing anything. Raihanah, Affiera and Morgan are the one who took part in this technology stuff. Meanwhile, the other members took part in searching the speaker for the live event, help in giving the best sentence for the posters and so on. Furthermore, during this preparation stage, we have experienced to conduct an online rehearsal. We did rehearsal a week before our live session for everyday. Most of us experienced an unstable internet connection and we came up with several ideas on how to prevent this thing from happening during the actual day. It was tough to make this event

happens as it needs us to have a very strong internet connection. After all we did our best in this stage. During Stage 3, as for me, I experienced to be a moderator during the live event along with Ashieda. It was a very great experience for both of us as we can connect to everyone else through online session during this pandemic. The other of our group members are doing their best in backstage to make sure the event runs smoothly. Afaf and Raihanah are responsible to control everything during the live event while Haafizhah and Affiera controlled the comment section. Morgan was our backup moderator if both of me and Ashieda have unstable internet connection. It can be said that for all of these stages of E-SULAM, as this project is conducted online, my group has given our very best despite all the challenging that we have faced such as unstable internet connection. Thus, I am very proud with my group of E-SULAM. Feelings First of all, I am very grateful and thankful that I have a very supportive group member. This Write your feelings, emotions project would not be a success so far if it is not because of them. As I have no talent and and thoughts pertaining to creative in designing anything, they will assign me with other task so I can contribute well too. those experiences and The teamwork is amazing as if there are any difficulties, we will try to help each other. As this activities, how do you feel project is conducted online, we try to understand each other’s situation if something happens towards SL? such as because of the unstable internet connection. There is no pressure in working with my group members which I am very thankful for. For this project, I also feel anxious and nervous. During the first stage, I feel anxious as I was very worried that we might unable to find replacement for the lawyer that has cancelled the interview due to urgent matter. In addition, as this project needs us to have a stable internet connection especially during the live event, it makes me feel a little bit anxious as I faced unstable internet connection during our rehearsal. I might think I will ruin the live event as I was one of the moderators. I feel nervous as I am one of the moderators during the live event. Even though I have experienced in debate and forum but, this project is conducted online. I cannot see the viewers with my own eyes which makes me feel more nervous. Luckily, I feel anxious nervous for nothing as we succeeded in finding a new lawyer and the live event went smoothly with a lot of viewrs which we did not expect it to be that smooth. After all the hustle, I feel really relieved that finally the three stages for this project has successfully done. We managed to interview a Syarie lawyer for the stage 1 after got rejected by more than 10 lawyers, we have successfully create an event page for our live session and promote to the public regarding our topic and finally the FB live went smoothly after all the struggles. I feel so relieved that we actually managed to get through this even though we only discussed about it virtually. In my point of view, E-SULAM has made me learnt to work virtually in this pandemic. I also learnt many things through E-SULAM especially regarding the knowledge of Hibah ‘Umra as this is our group’s topic. This project not just gives benefit to me but public as well as there are so many people that join my group’s live and the other groups also which show that public also gain knowledge through this project. Evaluation and Analysis Through this E-SULAM project, I can see that my strength is communication skills. This is Evaluate and analyse your because, I have contacted several lawyers to ask for their availability to be interviewed for own strengths and

weaknesses that you can which for this skill is needed as we deal with a professional person. Besides that, as I was identify throughout the one of the moderators during the live event session, I think that I can communicate well with the speaker and the viewers too even though the event was just conducted virtually. In process of SL, your addition, the communication between me and my group is what I am very proud of. I perceptions towards yourself communicate and respond well in the group chat and will give my opinion regarding anything that relate to this project. Therefore, throughout this process of service learning, I can say in relation to SL, whether SL that my strength is communication skills. can help you to enhance Through this project I also can see my weakness is that I have no talent and not your own potential, how creative in designing anything. I was not very helpful in doing posters, making a video and does SL benefits you, how infographic. I did not contribute well in this matter as I have a very little knowledge about design. However, I handled my weakness with giving help in giving the ideas and the best did you handle the problems sentence to put in the posters, infographic and so on. or challenges that you faced during SL. Conclusion and Action I realized and learnt through this project that technology is important as we live in the era that Plan everything needs technology in doing things. As this project needs us to do virtual promotion Acknowledge what you have and so on, technology is very important to make this matter happens. In future, I believe that learned from your I will try to learn things related to technology as I have experienced that I was no help to my experience and how would group regarding design and technology. I have learnt a lot from all of my group members you do it differently next regarding teamwork, communication skills and also designing. If I am given the other time. opportunity to do this kind of project again, I will make sure that I am able to help in terms of designing things and know about more technology in future.

GLUP4173 – JURISPRUDENCE GLUP4183 – LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: NUR HAAFIZHAH BINTI ABDUL RASID MATRIC NO.: 254689 Item Elaboration Description Let me explain the experiences that I have been getting through and what I have contributed to my work with the team members during the process of SL stage by stage. Describe what you have experienced during the The first stage in SL is investigation. We were required to conduct an interview with process of SL, what have lawyer, circulate public survey for the purpose of our research and write a short report of the you conducted for your SL? interview and survey. We had chosen Hibah ‘Umra as our topic for SL. For the interview session, we had set up a meeting with a lawyer who was the Master of one of my group members, Syuhada as she has been practicing there during semester break. Then, something happened too sudden as both of his children were sick and he could not manage to attend our interview session. Here was the starting point when things were getting tough for us. We had been “rejected” more than 10 speakers in three days if I am not mistaken as each of us contacting one or two speakers for the interview session. We did contact with a famous legal speaker through Facebook and Twitter, but the result was a disappointment. All of us kept finding and contacting as much lawyers and legal speakers and Alhamdulillah, we found one and he willing to share the knowledge with us. For the survey, it was a mandatory for each of us to circulate a set of questionnaires among the public purposely to collect data for our research. Both of them goes well for us. The second stage is preparation. In this stage, each group needs to setup page event on the main Facebook page of SL namely as Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate. It is called as preparation because at this stage we were required to promote our event through infographic, images and videos as for the preparation to attract public to join the Facebook Live session as being scheduled. At this stage, we did a successful manageable teamwork as each of us were being assigned particular task such as making promotion videos and poster and also making a deal with an available speaker for our FB Live session on 23rd November 2020 at 8:00 pm. After we have discussed on who will be our speaker, then I volunteered myself to contact and deal with our honourable chosen speaker, Dr Fauziah Mohd Noor who was a Senior Lecturer in School of Law in UUM previously and later transferred to School of Islamic Business, still in UUM as a Senior Lecturer. Auspiciously, the deal also goes great even I had no experience proposing or dealing with someone for an event. In addition, we did circulate and spread our promotion videos and posters about our event through our social medias such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and also Instagram. The third stage is called as action because this is quite an enormous event that all of us have been waiting for. If this stage is successful and going well as expected with a lot of participants and questions from the audience, it indicates that all the preparation done during stage two were striving to the highest. This stage started from 8th November until 26th November 2020. As have been mentioned above, we had chosen the date of November 23rd which was Monday’s night because we made a forecast that there will be more than 50

viewers for our FB Live session as the next day has no classes. That was one of our tactics. As the day came nearer around three days towards the event, we kept on updating in our social medias regarding it, plus we had offered RM50 cash as grand prize and also two Tealive e-gift cards to the top three winners for our quiz at the end of the session. This was also one of the strategies in attracting public and fellow friends to participate on the day of the event. At this stage, I did contribute to my group by creating several set of questions either for rehearsal purpose or for the real one. In addition, I have also prepared google form to collect feedbacks from the audience regarding our session. To be mentioned again, we were so thankful as all of it was going well as we prayed. Feelings As being assigned from the lecturers in the stage one, an interview session with a lawyer or legal speakers was a mandatory. The problem that we were facing was being Write your feelings, emotions rejected by the proposed lawyers and legal speakers. So, each of us was required to find an and thoughts pertaining to available speaker respectively. In my sight of experience, contacting unknown person is a those experiences and challenge for me as I am quite introvert, not exposing too much in crowd and not good in activities, how do you feel communication with new people. In the easier meaning is I am lack of confident. Me, myself towards SL? had contacted two Syarie lawyers, one had no answer at all and the other one had responded, saying that she has no experience handling Hibah cases. I was quite upset at that time and the feeling of failure overwhelmed me for a while because I could not perform well upon and felt less responsible to my group and thinking of it might interrupt the success of the interview session where it was a mandatory to be done. As for this challenge, I have no contact with any Syarie lawyers or even legal speakers. It messed me up, however in making this to be successful, my father had suggested me to contact our neighbour who was one of the officers of Pejabat Agama Islam Daerah Hulu Perak perhaps he knew some that I have been looking for. So, it had encouraged me to have the gut to contact unknown person and arranging word by word, explaining and replying to the Syarie lawyer pertaining to our proposal. Finally, I managed to fade away my anxiety and fear. In the second stage, after we have discussed on who will be our speaker, then I volunteered myself to contact and deal with our honourable chosen speaker, Dr Fauziah Mohd Noor to challenge myself again to be more brave and to reduce my anxiety and fear to engage with people. It was my forte to contact Dr Fauziah and I was not too anxious proposing her to be our speaker for the FB Live session as sometimes I texted her for her opinions in resolving certain problems regarding family matters. The deal became more relaxing as Dr Fauziah gave a positive response and also entertain each of our requests such as asking for her best photo to be attached in the poster and promotion videos and also her comments on the poster. Next is the third stage where the event will be conducted as on the date that each group had chosen, and ours was on 23rd November 2020 at 8:00 pm. Each group was given 45 minutes up to an hour to conduct the FB Live session. In picking moderators among our group members, it should be the one who has stable and strong internet connection. The circumstances were disappointing me as I did not have stable and strong internet connection, so I could not be the moderator for the FB Live session. The seat needed to be passed to my friends. We had conducted several rehearsals for the smooth running of the talk repeatedly day by day to ensure that no mistake would happen on the event’s day. We experienced a lot of challenges during our rehearsal such as problems regarding our quiz session, so I changed the platform from Kahoot to Quizziz which was easier to manage. It relieved me on that part. As three days before the day of the event, the weather was not satisfying as it was

raining and interrupted the internet connection especially for the two of us who had been volunteered to be as moderators for the event. We were scared of the weather, praying that it would not raining as the days before. Fortunately, God helped us and on that day, it was still raining but it started right after we had finished our talk. We managed to have more than 50 viewers, 500 views of the recorded session and we got more than 10 questions by the audience to be answered by the speaker during QnA session of FB Live session on the topic of Hibah ‘Umra. It shown that our preparation stage was successful enough to perform well for our FB Live session. It was such a great achievement and satisfying experience. Evaluation and Analysis There are several strengths and weaknesses that could be identified in myself during this SL process. One of the strengths is I am easy to get along and comfort myself in dealing Evaluate and analyse your with new people even though I did not know them. The way that I dealt and spoke to a person own strengths and plays an important role so that that person is willingly to either reply me or agreeing with my weaknesses that you can proposal without hesitation. Virtual dealing helps me a lot to wash away my anxiety rather identify throughout the than meeting a person face to face. Might it take longer time for me to suit myself with new process of SL, your people. perceptions towards yourself in relation to SL, whether SL Secondly, as for the challenges in preparing quiz platform, I need to make the quiz can help you to enhance compatible to be shown on the admin screen during FB Live session. There were problems your own potential, how such as questions did not appear on the main screen, the leaderboard did not show the does SL benefits you, how names of participants and also the questions were going too fast. Hence, I kept on updating did you handle the problems and finding solution to overcome these problems while we were practicing during rehearsal or challenges that you faced until it goes efficiently. To be honest, during this alteration and setting up the quiz platform, during SL. my weakness came to appear where it tensed me a little bit as my group members were commenting a lot. Initially, I was fed up already and not willing to continue it or maybe pass the task to another member but I did a smart move later. I took their comments as a trigger to challenge myself to make it works well and prove to my group members that I managed to settle it and finally it was proven. Besides, I noticed that I am quite brave to spare myself learning new things as I have found it when volunteering myself to create a Google Form for collecting feedbacks from the audience regarding our session which I have never done it before my entire life. That was the first time. In my perspective, SL has its own benefits and flaws. Among the benefits are it doubles our commitment, cooperation and understanding among our group members. Misunderstanding, quarrelling and not agreeing with someone’s suggestions and attitudes were coming through us during SL process. It tensed us but we need to set them aside and start to focus to our main objective which is to make each stage successful and do the best to get the best marks. The only main problem of SL as it is being done virtually not face to face. It does require stable internet connection to participate and contribute equally. The only platform to communicate during this pandemic is through online platform by using WhatsApp group and Zoom online meeting. For me, I think it is more efficient to conduct a meeting, discussing about SL and easy to get a firm decision if we could meet face to face. All the problems and challenges that I had experienced through these three stages from the beginning till the third one which I did mentioned above, I turned them into positive ways so that I managed to handle them properly, as best as I could. As a wise man said, “Do not let negative things turn you down in sorrow and failure, get up and twist it so that it will get along you well and you will be more successful in future”.

Conclusion and Action In a nutshell, I do learn a lot during this SL process either working as a team or even Plan individually. I have learnt on how to start conversation with a totally foreigner, proposing and dealing with respected lecturer. Making people feel comfortable with us during the Acknowledge what you have conversation is quite tough if we did not do it well. Hence, the soft skills are highly needed to learned from your be applied there. The experiences and position as Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya and school experience and how would prefect since high school did contribute much to myself in gaining such encouragement and you do it differently next believing myself that, if other people can do, so that I could do it as well. Trying new stuffs time. such as creating Google Form and set of questions in the online quiz platform taught me a lot to explore it more, set it up well so it will run smoothly and accordingly as we preferred it to be. In future, I am thinking that SL could be done either face to face like our seniors before or through online platform like nowadays. Both of them have their own positive and negative outcomes, but we are the one who decides how it should benefit people either in positive or adverse effect. In my view, both of ways which is face to face and also using online platform better should be combined where a face to face session is being live streamed on air, hence all people could participate freely in the sharing session regardless backgrounds. Perhaps the sharing session will open their minds to concern and take seriously upon the topics that have been discussed further with the honourable lawyers and knowledgeable speakers.

COURSE CODE / COURSE NAME GLUP4183 – LAW OF SUCCESSION AND PROBATE GLUP4233 – ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REFLECTION FOR SERVICE LEARNING NAME: MORGAN PHRASADDHA NAIDU A/L PUSPAKARAN MATRIC NO: 255843 Item Elaboration Description During this 7 weeks of experiencing online service learning, E-SULAM, we as a group had gone through 3 (three) different stages of service learning with Describe what you have alongside loyal and hardworking team members. The first stage in we went experienced during the through was the investigation stage. During this stage, we were required to process of SL, what have decide on a topic from the various topics that we had been allocated with in you conducted for your SL? Padlet. We were also required to conduct an interview with an individual who was well-versed in in our topic of Hibah ‘Umra. Besides, we also had to distribute a public survey for the purpose of our research as this service learning’s main agenda was to create awareness to the society about what Hibah ‘Umra was all about. In this process, we interviewed the famed Shariah Lawyer from Messrs Nazmi Azhar & Associates, Mr. Nazmi Kamis. Initially, we were supposedly to conduct an interview with Mr. Amir Khusyairi from Messrs Amir Khusyairi & Associates. However, due timing differences and a hectic schedule on his side, he sadly had to cancel our appointment just a day before the day of the interview. At that point, we experienced a crucial period as we had to find a new lawyer as a replacement to be interviewed for our first stage. We were pushed to use whatever networking that we built before this and all members did their best effort by contacting every lawyer that we personally knew during our unofficial internship during the previous semester breaks. We also tried our luck with our UUM law seniors who were now appointed as advocates and solicitors as well contacting well-known lawyers through Twitter and Facebook. However, all of them were not available to be interviewed at such a short notice. By the grace of God, after being rejected by more than 10 lawyers, our team member, Afaf finally found a lawyer from her contacts which is Mr. Nazmi Kamis. After we conducted the interview with the lawyer and collected data from the public survey about the Hibah ‘Umra, we were able to summarize that the knowledge and public awareness about the existence of Hibah ‘Umra was at a very low stake. The second stage for service learning was the preparation stage. In this stage, we required to setup an event page on the main Facebook page of service learning known as Raising Awareness: Succession and Probate. We were required to do preparations for our public event where we had to give awareness about Hibah ‘Umra in Stage 3. Thus, in this stage we had to design infographics, make promotional videos as well as posters in order to attract public to join our Facebook Live session which being scheduled. In coordination, we decided to assign one member per task as there were various

requirements to be fulfilled. For instance, I designed the long edition promotional video for our group using the FilmoraGo software. Meanwhile the other group members did other tasks such as preparing the questions to be asked during Facebook Live session, finding a speaker for our Facebook Live, finding further information about our speaker and also finding a proper streaming platform. Finally, Dr. Fauziah Mohd Noor, a well-known Senior Lecturer at UUM School of Law previously and later transferred to School of Islamic Business, willingly became our sole speaker for our event on the 23rd November 2020 at 8:00pm. During this stage, we promoted our event through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. We also conducted repeated rehearsals every night for a week before the actual day of the event to ensure that everything was spick and span for the smooth transmission of our event. The third stage of our service learning was an action stage. The actual Facebook Live session was on 23rd November 2020 at 8:00pm and gracefully, our event went on smoothly without any further obstacles. It was also a pleasant surprise that all of our network connections worked beautifully on the day despite disruptions during our rehearsals. Our reason of choosing 23rd November 2020 and 8pm for our event was because on Monday nights, we deduced that there will be more participants as it was a working day and moreover, there was no classes for UUM students on the following day. A plus point was also that during night, more people were active on Facebook. During the event, I had been one of the members who worked backstage to control the streaming elements and also choose the questions. Besides, I had also been the backup moderator in case of network disruption by either moderators. We personal witnessed more participation from the society rather than our batchmates which had been definitely a positive sign. They bombarded our speaker with questions regarding Hibah ‘Umra. It showed that they were enthusiastic with our topic and they wanted to know more about Hibah ‘Umra. I was also amazed to see an enormous numbers of participations in game that we had prepared on Quizizz during the live session as the gifts offered were valuable ones. The grand prize was RM50 cash prize sponsored by Raihanah Ariff’s mother, Mrs. Faezah while the other two gifts were Tealive e-gift cards respectively, which was bought by the joint contribution of the group members. We also distributed a Google form to collect the feedbacks from the participants of our Facebook Live session. Thus, we can summarize that our Facebook Live session was a success and the preparations we did during Stage 2 were ultimately adequate. Feelings In relation to nearing the end of our service learning, I personally feel all happy, sad, anxious and grateful all at once. During the first stage, I was Write your feelings, emotions extremely worried and equally nervous to contact the Syariah lawyer for our and thoughts pertaining to interview session on Hibah ‘Umra. My hidden side was challenged at this those experiences and activities, how do you feel towards SL? part of time as I was an introvert who was bad at communicating with

strangers. Although during last semester break, we had all done unofficial internship at a law firm, however my prior law firm was not of Syariah disputes, but only focused on conveyancing. I was forced to step out of m shell as I had to find and contact lawyers through social media if I wanted the event to occur. I am glad to say that now, I believe more in myself and I am a braver version than before as I even volunteered to become the backup moderator for the event after going through this process. My heart is content during second stage as I was assigned to do the promotional videos which was my favourite expertise. I thoroughly enjoyed editing the long version promotional video of our group as it was the best platform to showcase my hobby. Besides, I was more than thankful when Dr. Fauziah agreed to be our speaker for our event. But, due to all of our prayers, during the Facebook Live event everything went smoothly and I was surprised to see a lot of participations from the public itself as I handled the backstage. As I was one of the member who chose the questions from the audiences, we were flooded with questions and it was hard for us to choose the best among the best questions to be asked to our speaker. Evaluation and Analysis Throughout this project, I think one of the strengths I ultimately displayed was by being an active team player to contribute to group’s success. I also Evaluate and analyse your found myself effectively working under pressure. For instance, even if my own strengths and friends and I faced several difficulties and challenges throughout this project, weaknesses that you can I still managed to keep myself calm but proactive at the same time. identify throughout the process of SL, your perceptions towards yourself in relation to SL, whether SL can help you to enhance your own potential, how

does SL benefits you, how Furthermore, if there is anything that we did last minute, I still found myself did you handle the problems able to handle things quickly and efficiently. Plus, having great team or challenges that you faced members also made it easier to get all the task done. Therefore, I am very during SL. grateful for that. Besides that, I also think that being an easy-going person helps a lot especially in team working task. This is because, when there is misunderstanding on certain issues, I find myself as an easy person to be deal with and able to adapt with the situation efficiently with my group members. With regard to the weaknesses, I think it relates with the online learning process. I think it was a bit difficult for me to adapt with the current service learning as everything is done virtually. There is one time where I almost gave up as there is too many tasks to be done at the same time. Moreover, I was fearful to speak and communicate with others effectively as I was an extreme introvert. However, my group members were really considerate and understanding. We managed to help each other through the tough times and soon, the got me to become a complete extrovert. I believe that we have also become closer as a group and I look forward to work more with them in near future.

Conclusion and Action In conclusion, I think the most crucial value that I have gained during this Plan project is teamwork. Without my amazingly dedicated group members, I would have not been able to do everything individually. This is because, in Acknowledge what you have our group, we all have the same goals, the same objectives to be achieved. It learned from your all depends on the quality of each other’s work to make it an excellent work. experience and how would you do it differently next time. By working effectively as a team, it has also taught me that everything can be done faster and efficiently. We also managed to cooperate and learn with each other. We managed to make it work from the beginning towards the end of it. Therefore, I am really thankful for the lecturers to have given us this opportunity and guiding us to conduct the service learning successfully.
