PARISH MINISTRY amXrthZn is the mothers’ group of our parish who actively participate in all its activities. We collectively support other service teams to run this church effectively. Our special adoration and intercession prayers keep this community strong in faith. We are one of the strong pillars of our church in supporting children and other members in their spiritual journey. Another area we help is in raising funds by marketing our culinary skills. We make special celebrations in church blessed with floral decorations and homemade nercha, which is always special. We support Youth Tea stall by preparing snacks for sale. Our exercise group, cooking group and floral arrangement group are great platforms to share our talents for the Lord, rejuvenate ourselves and make good friends. We would like to invite all mothers in the parish to join this group. Please feel free to contact our leaders if you would like to join any of these groups and support our activities. The leaders can direct you to the respective Mathruvedi ward representatives. Please contact: Sindhu Jenny- President (0432 164 525) Sheeba Alosius- Secretary (0469 409 924) 19

WE BELIEVE WE SHARE... OUR FAITH FEST EXPERIENCES Dain Sony – Year 10 Faith Fest was such an engaging, fun, and eye-opening event that I was so glad I attend- ed. Even though on day 1 we all had trouble warming up, by the end of day 2 we were all saddened by the thought of such a program coming to an end. With all the dancing, singing, group activities and powerful talks, my experience there was one I look forward to experiencing again. Charles Joseph – Year 10 Faith Fest was an enlightening experience for me, a short retreat which was able to convey Gods’ precepts through various activities. It was through these activities, that we, the children were able to realise the presence of God in our daily lives, thus helping to increase our faith. Angel Martin – Year 9 Faith Fest was an amazing experience for me; it was so awesome to come together with our friends and celebrate what we believe in. Fr Bony was hilarious and I am grateful to have received answers for some of the questions I had about my Catholic Faith. Neefa Jenny – Year 8 Faith fest was a very fun experience for me because I did lots of activities I haven’t done. It wasn’t anything like the adult retreat, because it included songs, games, dances, and competitions. I would definitely want this to occur every single year.
