CLEAN UP- It Starts with you There was once a young boy who stayed with his parents and who took care of a castle. The boy loved to play and roam the castle halls. He would stare up at all the old paintings of Kings holding swords posing with their children. The paintings and the walls were sadly not taken care of. There was dust everywhere. One day as he looked up at the paintings, he realized that one of the paintings looked different. It then struck him that the King in the painting was missing. His children stood looking through the painting for their father, one of them crying but the King was nowhere to be seen. The boy looked everywhere for the king until he happened to hear singing from one of the main baths. He peeked inside, only to find the king from the painting soaking in bubbles. The boy stole some courage and told the king that his son was crying and asked the king why he had run away from his painting. 58

The king looked at the boy and said he had been hanging on those castle walls for so long but no one had cleaned his painting for quite a while. The king hurried back, thanking the boy and requesting him to ask his parents to clean the paintings. From that day on, rather than telling his parents, the boy decided to clean and dust the paintings himself. Clever Cat tells Brainy Bunny, “Brainy Bunny, do you know that we must always close the lid of the commode when we flush? If we don’t, the germs from the commode can travel as high and wide as 2 metres in every directions, clinging on to toothbrushes, towels, floor and the walls.” 59
