Interview09 “ Never Compromise on quality to achieve excellence in a professiona.” Q: Please tell us about yourself briefly? A: I am Brigadier of Pakistan Army (Engineering Core) served over for 32 years. I have worked on all major projects of Pakistan army including construction of 3000 bed hospital at Rawalpindi, construction of medi- cal college and hospital at Lahore, rehabilitation of Mo- torway M2, construction of coastal highway in Sindh and Baluchistan province. I am also honored to get selected by Pakistan Engineering Council as Technical Expert for Prime Minister Inspection Commission. Q: When did you join PGCL and how’s your experience being working here? A: I joined Pak Gulf Construction (Pvt.) Limited in July 2016 and found it a vibrant, modern and right organi- zation for me to show up my managerial qualities and take PGCL project to new heights where we not only execute our own projects but also can pick mega proj- ects in the market. Q: How many projects are being undertaken currently under you? A: I am currently looking after all the projects being un- dertaken by PGCL including MovenPick, Taj Residen- cia, Umm-e-Ilyas Hospital and mall extension. Taj Residencia is a high quality residence with a touch of royalty as is evident from its name. The development is being undertaken if not better but a comparably good society like Bahria and DHA. It is though a small resi- dential colony in the beginning but our management is trying to make it self-sustained colony to have all facili- ties and happy modern living. Q: What is the roadmap you foresee for these projects? A: The future of the project is very bright because these have been planned keeping in view the future trends in construction and living. Q: Would you like to give any message to employees? A: My message to everyone is to adopt the motto of “never compromise on quality to achieve excellence in a profession.”
