Almost Maine By: John Carini One deeply cold and magical Midwinter Night, the citizens of Almost -- not organized enough for a town too populated for a wilderness -- experience the life-altering power of the human heart. Relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis and populated with characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, thoughtful, and sincere, Almost, Maine is a series of loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center, each with its own touch of sorcery.

Christian Alvarez (11th grade) I have been acting for over 5 years, and now the current director of Almost Maine. This is my first time directing a production and I'm super excited to share this experience with all of you. I hope you enjoy the play. - Chris Zoe Camino (11th grade) “It’s going to be hard, but hard does not mean impossible.” Johanna Alcasid (10th grade) “Your limitation ---- IT’S ONLY YOUR IMAGINATION” Jeddwyn Apilado (11th grade) Growing up, Jeddwyn has always been surrounded by the arts, studying musical properties, and now exploring what it means to embody a character. He strives to be successful in both music and acting, giving every performance 150% of his effort.
Devanne Candare (10th grade) “It’s Can Dare not Cannot Dare.” Aaron Caleb Elders (11th grade) “Life being unfair is no excuse to unfair yourself.” Joana De La Torre (11th grade) \"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all\" Richard Managuit (12th grade) “Life is one big bottle cap of Snapple facts, it’s all random knowledge that one must utilize throughout life.”
Camille Joy Mendoza (10th grade) \"There's a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn't that kind of the point?\" Nina Micah Miranda (10th grade) As long as I stay with my heart, I can use a broken compass. Arlene Grace Nagtalon (11th grad) Arlene has been exposed to various musicals and plays ever since she was a little girl. She is currently a junior taking four AP classes and involved in a range of extracurriculars besides the drama club. Still, Arlene wanted to take the opportunity to have a new creative outlet here on stage, becoming more well-rounded, where she is free to embrace her true self and emotions unapologetically. Hayden Price (12th grade) “I’ll be okay, even if I don’t understand how I don’t want to be a girl, but also don’t want to be a man. Oh also when I get murdered can you make sure I become an unsolved case?”
Rayjay Rhodes (12th grade) “Mistakes are proof that you are trying.” Saide Soto (11th grade) “Be positive, stay real, and don’t take yourself too seriously.” Izabel Rae Valiente (11th grade) She's a little sleepy everyday, and likes to be more or less carefree. She prefers a rather quiet environment and occasionally something interesting to read.
