Lunch Box Monday for 08.14.23

Lunch Box Monday is a weekly focused meditation on Prayer, Scripture, and Lunch. It is a way to turn off the noise and listen to the voice of wisdom with a blessing from God. Our ability to hear from God is similar to anything else we hear. We must turn up what we need to hear and turn down the things we don't. Take a moment today and carefully consider all that impacts your ability to hear God. Begin to turn down the \"noise\" that is drowning out His voice. Bible Reading: Proverbs 8

Father God, I come before You in gratitude and humility. I put on Your armor, girding myself with truth wearing the breastplate of righteousness to protect my heart and soul. I lace up the shoes of peace to walk confidently in Your will. I take up the shield of faith to extinguish the fiery darts of doubt and fear. I place on my head the helmet of salvation, safeguarding my mind with Your truth. I hold the sword of the Spirit, Your Word, to combat every challenge and temptation. Lord, empower me to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, resist evil, and walk in Your strength each day. I ask for Your guidance, wisdom, and discernment as I navigate life's challenges. May Your grace sustain me, and Your wisdom guide my every step. Amen.
