MARK CHAPTER 11 After many years of getting what I asked for from God, I have reluctantly concluded my favor with Him. Often family and friends have jokingly asked me to introduce them to my God. But the Christians among them already know Him. The difference is faith. I am expecting an answer when asking God for something. The moment I finish praying, I am convinced that it is done. I have even gotten into the habit of thanking Him in advance for answering my prayers. When something disappointing, hurtful, or unjust happens in my life, I try to spend little time on the very human side of me that hurts easily. I know that the disappointment has set me up for another one of God's miracles. In my heart, I know that God wants me to be healthy and
happy. When things do not go as I wish, by faith, I know that what God is going to give me must be more incredible than what I wanted. In turn, the more I expect from God, the more He gives me, and the more He expects from me. The more I give back, the more blessings I receive. The more my faith increases, the more opportunities He gives me to increase my faith. I, therefore, place myself in the position of receiving His uncommon favor. With anticipated needs and considered desires, my prayers are answered. God is only a prayer away. But those who come to God must believe that He is.
