Lunch Box Monday for 08.07.23

Lunch Box Monday is a weekly focused meditation on Prayer, Scripture, and Lunch. It is a way to turn off the noise and listen to the voice of wisdom with a blessing from God. Our ability to hear from God is similar to anything else we hear. We must turn up what we need to hear and turn down the things we don't. Take a moment today and carefully consider all that impacts your ability to hear God. Begin to turn down the \"noise\" that is drowning out His voice. Bible Reading: Proverbs 8

Father God, I come before You with a heart filled with gratitude and reverence. I pray You will imbue the Scripture verses with power and truth in my life. You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. I declare that You are my shield and protector. You are the One who guards me from all harm and danger. Your faithful presence surrounds me like a sheltering wing, and I find rest and security in You. Though challenges may arise, You are with me always. Your angels encamp around me, guarding and guiding my every step. Lord, I lift up my loved ones to You as well. I pray that they may also dwell in the shelter of the Most High. Protect them from harm and surround them with Your love. Amen.
