II TIMOTHY CHAPTER 1 Often God opens great doors of opportunity for us, and we allow Satan to convince us that we are incapable of entering. We dream of the day God will use us as the instrument of His will and the vessel through which His blessings will flow. Satan, through mind tricks, tries to convince us that we cannot accomplish the task that is set before us. He wants us to believe that we are unworthy of receiving the call to do God’s will and receive His blessings. The reason we allow these thoughts to be planted in our minds may be our insecurities, our history, or even our failures. The Scriptures remind us that we truly can do God's will when we trust and allow Him to work through us.
We can depend upon our heavenly Father. He loves us with an undying and unwavering love. Indeed, God wants the very best for us. We are rich in talents, gifts, and abilities, and He wants to see us blossom and reach our fullest potential. Our meager minds cannot even imagine the depth of blessedness that God intends for us. Whenever you feel defeated, remember God has not given you the spirit of fear. Go to Him in prayer, admit your shortcomings, take time to listen to His guidance and direction. Follow His will for your life, and above all, don't quit! Be all that you can be!
