Children often find it hard to tell adults about personal safety because they don’t know the words to use. Sensitizing children about good touch - bad touch, makes them emotionally strong and helps them to grow normally. It helps them handle “not so positive events” in life in a better way so that they do not impact their growth and personality. In today’s world, it is imperative that we talk to children about the differences between right and wrong, appropriate and inappropriate. Safe touch workshops were conducted in school by school counsellor to empower children on body safety. 2

At Dunes we gave an opportunity to all the students to share the video of the valuable time spend with their grandparents during the summer vacation. Read an e-book Day is a celebration of modern story- telling. E-books enable you to take the stories and au- thors you love with you anytime, anywhere. To encour- age the students to read e-book day was observed in school. The e-book was displayed on the whiteboard and the students were made to read the book. They were also explained about the steps to take an e-book on their own. This was done to make them digitally competent. 4

` Guided Reading Guided Reading is an instructional approach that involves a teacher working with a small group of readers. During the lesson the students were provided with a text they can read with support to coach them as they use problem solving strat- egies to read the text. The outcome of the guid- ed reading was that many of the students were able to read the text independently. 10

A mind map is a type of graphic organiz- er that uses a diagram to visually organ- ize ideas and concepts. The central idea or concept is placed in the centre of the diagram, and then related ideas are add- ed to it in a radial fashion. Mind maps are used to help structure infor- mation to gain a better understanding. Students realize that animals live in their convenient places. Students should be able to speak about homes that animals make for themselves, as well as the ones we provide for some. 11

This message decoder is a great way for students to practice their skills with double digit addition and subtraction. They have given various addition and subtraction problems after they solve the sums they can find out the secret message in among the given let- ters. This helps children to recog- nize basic math facts, they have learned to do addition and sub- traction problem in the same se- quence. 12

In this activity the students learned the form of the letter Y inside the word 13

Students learnt letter “स” with the different types of pictures. They drew the letter “स” in paper plate with proper formation and drew the different types of objective related to “स” letter and fill with colour. Students also learnt the names of the pictures that begin with “स”letter. By doing this activity students learnt to make proper use of “स”.This activity helped them to gain self confidence, enriched their vo- cabulary and presentation skill. 14

The international peace day is observed on 21 Septem- ber every year.  This day is \"devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.\" On this occasion various activities were con- ducted in the school. Students were engaged in different activities like making peace symbol, logo, poster making etc. All these activities helped students to get awareness on the importance of peace in this busy world. 15

Singing comes from within and keeps one happy and joyful. Students learn a new song with singing techniques and breath control. They fo- cus on the pitch and tone and also learn the lyrics of the 16

Libraries for children are essential for in- formation and development. It helps them to en- hance their study and research skills and explain how to use the latest technologies to enhance their learning The students were engaged in free reading and listening 17
