Egypt District 2451 Rotary International President’s message 26 May 2021 This year is challenging for us all. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way Rotary and Rotaractors meet, connect, fundraise and serve. As a leader, you should see these challenges as great opportunities! You will need to build alliances across generations, taking advantage of the energy and leadership skills of young people. We need to incorporate Rotaractors into everything we do. We are seeing the importance of virtual connections. Most of our clubs are still meeting virtually, and in many ways, this is an advantage. It allows us to meet more often and to respond quicker to the needs of our members and our community. The Pandemic has created an opportunity for Rotary to be more efficient and modern. It has also made it clear to everyone that we can reach out so much easier than ever before. We can cross generations, borders and all artificial boundaries that separate us from our full potential. Rotary will continue to grow – both in numbers and in spirit – when we focus on our core values of Fellowship, Integrity, Leadership, Service, and Diversity. I want to put a special focus on the value of fellowship in these difficult times. We must make a special effort to take care of one another. Now more than ever, club members need to use our skills to make sure our friends in Rotary can survive and thrive in these difficult times. This spirit of caring is important now – and it should help us shape our future. We cannot control the events of the world; however, Rotary will not be diminished by them. We will rise to meet the future and do justice to the ideals that made us join this great organization. To do anything less insults our past; anything less than our best short changes our future. Now is the time for action. For Rotarians, troubled times are a time for inspiration. When we work together, we can achieve the impossible. Together we will bring hope to the less fortunate. Egypt District 2451 District Governor’s message Dear friends and Rotarians, Special and sincere greetings to you by the end of a year of achievements, hard work and challenges mixed with the spirit of love, friendship and fellowship. I thank God for a great successful Rotary year and I thank you all for your efforts and dedication. My friends ,Team of Action, Governors, Club Presidents, Secretaries and members; I was honored to be the Governor of Rotary District 2451 - Egypt for the Rotary year 2021- 2020 and I am lucky to have acquired this number of friends and loved ones. We worked together with all sincerity and dedication to serve our beloved Egypt and our people everywhere and to raise the name of Rotary Egypt high in our community. Yes we did it. Moreover, as the Rotary year is coming to an end, I would like to crown this year with the special book \"Rotary in Year 2020-2021\" to document all our activities and projects in all service committees, meetings and gatherings reflecting the public image of Rotary. The book also includes seminars, club visits and other occasions. I hope that we remain on the covenant and friendliness as we raise the theme of the Rotary International President Holger Kanak, \"Rotary Opens Opportunities\". On the other hand,we have now entered a new world of online meetings and gatherings to start a Rotary that adapts to the variables of life and its developments. Rotarian Action Groups unite Rotary members, family members, program participants and alumni who share their expertise in particular fields by collaborating with clubs and districts on projects.
