Club Events On 1st December 2019 Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College Participated in 1st Zonal Event “Vastra Daan”. Project was with Clubs over Ranchi. Club Members visited : Slum Near Kadru Crossing , Jagannath Temple, Dhurwa , Lowadih Chowk , Kanke Road And distributed clothes to the poor and needy On 3rd December 2019 Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College actively volunteered in the environment quiz organized by Rotary Club of Ranchi, conducted and mastered by India’s eminent Quiz Master Mr. Rajib Sanyal Sir. On 9th December 2019 Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College Announced The Result of fourth photography competition, based on the theme “Pet Photography”. Entries were received from all over the globe, results were as follows: On 14th December 2019 Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College in collaboration with feeding India installed a Happy fridge at Pahari Mandir, this fridge is used for keeping fresh food which can be used by needy ones. The Concept Of The Fridge Is That anyone who want to donate Food can come & keep it in the Fridge for The needyones in a direct reach. 5|THE PRIDORA |December2019

Club Events Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College with its 32 Rotaractors from the club attended District Rotaract Conference on 21st and 22nd of December , Club won several awards which includes Best Newsletter Award, Best Presentation Award, Maximum Participation Award, Treasurer RTR Ashbah Jawed won Mr. JAMBOREE Award. On 14th December 2019 Rotaract Club Of St. Xavier’s College On the occasion of Christmas club joined the international project \"Rotaractors Become Santa\" and celebrated Christmas by gifting chocolate to the kids at street and at church Members also Distributed Santa Caps. The IDYE program between district 3250 and 3292 flagged off on 25 of December. 4 Members from the club visited Kathmandu to attend the district conference in Yala Durbar. Two days conference with lot of exchanges in ideas of the summit 'investing in youth'. The members were hosted by rotaract clubs of Birgunj metropolis. Three days stay in Kathmandu lot of exploring and learning along with understanding life in Nepal and Bhutan. The team returned back on 30th. 6|THE PRIDORA |December2019

Story Of My Life -Rtr. Nikhil Dubey The incident about which I am going to reveal my experience is something from where I couldn't move on. Whenever the very thought of that moment passes my mind I stop myself and ask how am I alive. This story which am I going to reveal today is the great example of friendship and lesson which many of us might have read in class 12 in the prose titled -The Deep water. That was the point where I lost all hope. Article The last time we pondered upon this topic was in 2012.This thought of world ending tomorrow ceases minds, causes anxiety and pressure. I don't know why, but this very thought makes me excited and triggers an adrenaline rush. The very first thing that i would do is , to satisfy my taste buds.I would drown myself into the pleasant smoothness of cheese blended perfectly with tandoori momos. This time i would not resist my tongue seeing the slab of melting cheese wrapping the hearty slice of roasted chicken. To have all these cravings fulfilled on this last day, I feel no need for pretentious manners and would continue grabbing the delicacies with my eyes closed to truly savour the flavours in my mouth. Then i would go on a shopping spree. I would buy that gorgeous, sassy dress on which my eyes were glued and so i was dragged by my mother.This time from Coco Chanel to Marc Jacobs i would fulfill all my brand craze. Finally i would lay down on my mother's cozy lap, laugh out loud on my father's jokes and cuddle with my sister. I would make every single effort to prioritise family time by digging out our old album and sharing our childhood stories exclusively together. When all is said and done i would promise my family to be less naughty in my next rebirth and each of us would be embedded in the same string to once again become that crazy happy family. --Rtr.
