WELCOME TO QUOTERUSHThe BasicsWhen you start QuoteRush you will be presented with our Login Screen.Select your email address from the dropdown and enter your password. You cancheck the checkboxes to save the login information if you wish. QuoteRush willthen log you into the system and present you with the main screen.QuoteRush is broken up into Tabs. We have tried to design the interface to mimican Agents workflow.



The most important thing to remember is that PINK FIELDS ARE BAD! To get anaccurate quote from any of the carriers, any pink fields need to be filled in. Onthis tab one of the most important buttons is the Verify Address button. As longas the Mailing Address, City and State are filled in when you click Verify Address itwill query the USPS and get the official address and present it to you for approval.Once everything looks right on this page, click the Home Information Tab.When you have a new lead, navigating away from the Client Information Tab willautomatically save the lead at that point.Home Information TabThe first thing you will notice is that there are a LOT of pink fields. All of them arenecessary to get a quote. But fear not, we will help you fill them out in only about2 minutes! Follow along as you would reading a book, top to bottom, left to right.

Select the Type of Policy, and then click Apply Defaults. To adjust your defaults goto the top menu in QuoteRush and select Settings…Set Defaults (Property).Once clicked several fields are filled in automatically.After that, if the address is the same as the mailing address just check the boxindicating it is and the address will be filled in automatically.If the address is different you will enter and verify the address like you did for themailing address.Keep filling out the fields until you get to the Miles to Coast Button. Clicking it willopen a website that will give you a good approximation to the miles to coast.If the point on the coast is incorrect feel free to move it to where it should be.QuoteRush will pick up the mileage change automatically. Take note that there isalso a picture of the house, so you can note the roof shape.Get Property DetailsThis button deserves its own section! Clicking it opens the Property AggregateForm.

Most of the time you will click the County Appraiser button. This will open thecounty appraiser’s website and enter the address. Follow along with what the barat the top center of the browser tells you to do. It will turn yellow when it needsinput from you. Once completed it will typically leave you with the foundationshape left open for the county website. QuoteRush can’t count corners (yet).If the particular county site is lacking needed details, the Alt Sources button willopen Zillow and pull the data back into the form for you as an alternative.You can use the Bing Birds Eye or Google Maps button to get a look at the roofshape in most cases. If there is a particular field you do not want to import,uncheck its checkbox and it will be ignored.Once you are satisfied with this, click the Import Information into QuoteRush toclose this screen and transfer the data into the main QuoteRush application.Wind Mitigation Credit InformationIf you have a Wind Mitigation form check the checkbox on the orange separatorbar stating “I have the Wind Mit Affidavit Form”This will open up the Wind Mitigation Section for input.Once this tab is filled to where there are no pink fields, click the RCE InformationTab if you are planning to run an RCE.

The RCE Information TabThis section has the fields normally required to run an RCE.Flooring has to equal 100%. Fill out as much as you can to get the most accurateRCE.For porches, decks and patios, select the type from the dropdown and type in thesquare feet and click the Add button.

The Toolkit TabYou can quickly get an idea of what carrier you may want to quote with first byusing the Toolkit. Basically every single time an agent gets a quote from a carrierand saves it into QuoteRush, key, anonymous fields are saved for comparisonshopping with the toolkit. Just enter the basic information, adjust the fieldadjusters to what you want and click the Quoting Activity Button. Depending onhow many days out you selected you can get a view of what carriers were quotingin that area using the generalized details. QuoteRush currently averages 117,000+quotes a month and is growing. So the toolkit, which is displayed in a spreadsheetfashion stays up to date with the latest quotes. Just understand it is not a rocksolid quote, it is a representation of SIMILAR properties quoted based on theinformation you provide. Your quote is unlikely to come out to that exact amount,but as an agent you should be able to get a pretty good idea who to quote withfirst.

Run Quotes TabFor a HO quote that leads us to the Run Quotes Tab.From the left hand side select the carriers you wish to run, check the Run Carrier’sRCE if you want to run the each carrier’s RCE and then click Execute.At this point QuoteRush will save the lead and then will open each carrier’swebsite, log you in automatically and fill out the carriers fields. While QuoteRushis working the bar at the top of the browser will be blue and it will tell you what itis doing. When it needs you to do something, it will turn yellow and haveinstructions.

After you finish quoting a carrier an option box will appear giving you the optionto continue with the next carrier or cancel quoting. Typically agents would cancelif they realized they needed to change an entry they had made in QuoteRush.Once you are done quoting your quotes will show up in the Overview Tab. Clickon it to compare the quotes provided by each carrier.

At this point you can sort by column, hide or delete certain quotes and even printout a PDF of your quotes.You can change the Logo to your company’s logo and email it to a prospect.

Loading Leads from Your DatabaseThere are several ways to load a lead into your database.In the Overview Tab you can type in the last nameClick File…Search Database to locate leads you want to load or even delete fromthe system. If you have several leads with the same last name you can narrow itdown by adding a comma and entering letters contained in the first name.You can also click File and then click Search Database. This will also allow you todelete unwanted leads in your system (you will need the QuoteRush Adminpassword to do that). For multiple lead deletion, contact QuoteRush support forassistance.Also in the File… Import Menu System you will find various ways to import leads.

Accessing Carrier WebsitesThere are several ways to access websites. If you want to open one of yourcarrier’s websites and log in, but not do any quoting use the Open Website,Homeowner Carriers, etc… menu system to navigate to the carrier site you wishto open and log in. QuoteRush will open the carrier’s site and log you in. This willtypically only show carriers that you have enabled in QuoteRush.If you have Takeout Carriers (Carriers where you cannot quote, but can manageclients you have bound with them) then use the Open Website, Takeout Menu toAdd/Edit menu items.

Under the Help Menu System you will find ways to Report Errors or watch trainingvideos to familiarize yourself with what QuoteRush can do for you.Also at the very top you can see what version of QuoteRush you are running andour toll free support number.
