กำลงั ทำแตย่ งั ไม่เสรจ็ ... ลักษณะสำคญั คอื ต้องมี Verb to be ( is, am , are ) แล้วตามด้วย Verb.เติม ing โครงสร้ าง Subject ประโยค + Verb to be + Verb เตมิ ing + Object + (คาบอกเวลา)

หลักการเตมิ ing สามารถเตมิ ท้ายคากริยาได้เลย ยกเว้นกรณีต่อไปนี้ 1.คากริยาท่มี ีสระเสียงสัน้ อย่หู น้าตัวสะกดท่ีมีตวั เดยี ว ให้เตมิ ตวั สะกดตวั นัน้ เพ่มิ อีกหน่ึงตัว เช่น sit sitting 2.คากริยาท่ลี งท้ายด้วย e ให้ตดั e ทงิ้ ก่อน เช่น make making 3.คากริยาท่มี ีสระ2ตัว เตมิ ing ได้เลย เช่น read reading 4.คากริยาท่ลี งท้ายด้วย ie ให้เปล่ียนเป็ น y เช่น lie lying 5.คากริยาท่มี ีสองพยางค์และออกเสียงหนักท่ีพยางค์หลัง โดยต้องมีสระ และตัวสะกดเพยี งตัวเดยี ว ให้เพ่มิ ตวั สะกดอกี ตวั เช่น swim swimming Question Answer
