Pick-Up Procedure • Temperature checks and handwashing will continue • Parents will be required to wait in the school compound in a designated waiting area to pick up their child. • Children will be handed over to parents in the designated waiting area, in order to avoid a cluster in the reception area. • Children should be picked up between 1:30pm and 2pm. • Only 1 adult per family will be allowed to enter the school to pick up a child. • All students must be picked up at the specified time in order to avoid late pick up charges.

Story Books & Guided Reading Books • Physical books can never be replaced but in order to keep children safe, we will be adjusting how we handle our books. • Children will only be allowed to use the books that have been provided for them in their respective classes. • Every class will have their guided reading sessions in their classrooms. • These books will not be shared with another class. • Online links for additional books will be provided.
Playground and Break Procedure • Each class will have a 45 minutes break outside at different intervals. • Each class will play with their classmates only on the playground • All outdoor toys will be cleaned and disinfected after use by each class. • All class teachers and assistants will remain with their classes outdoors during break for adequate supervision.
Feeding • Children are expected to bring in their healthy breakfast, lunch, snacks, water bottles and cutlery. • All items should be neatly packed in a separate lunch bag and children will be required to eat in their various classes in order to avoid contact with others classes. • A ziploc pack should be provided for each child, in order for their used plates and cutlery to be packed and sent back home. • The kitchen staff will no longer wash or handle the children’s personal eating utensils, in order to reduce indirect contact with the children. • Children are expected to come with at least 2 water bottles daily. Their bottles will no longer be refilled with the water dispenser in order to avoid unnecessary indirect contact.
After School Clubs • We plan to resume all after school activities in January 2020. • These activities include: Music, Ballet, Taekwondo, French, Pottery & Painting, Swimming, Farm to Fork and Woodwork.
Hygiene Protocols • Sensitizing materials have been placed all around the school as a constant reminder of the COVID- 19 guidelines. • Teachers and assistants will continue to clean and disinfect tables and chairs at every 2-hour interval. (11am & 1pm) • Constant hand-washing/sterilizing will be enforced once the children go on break. • All hands-on resources will be sterilized daily after each use.
Suspected Covid-19 Infection Protocols • No student or adult found with a fever will be admitted into school. • Any student who develops a fever during the school day will be isolated from the group and the child must be picked up by the parents or guardian IMMEDIATELY.
VISITING THE SCHOOL • Any visitor during school hours will be limited to the reception area only. • Parents are encouraged to call the school office for any information they may require during the school day. Online Classes • Online School will continue after the midterm break on the 2nd of November, 2020. • Daily Activities will be posted on class dojo from 8am on Mondays – Fridays. • Live Zoom Classes will hold on Monday – Wednesdays by 4pm. • Activities sent via class dojo will be the same carried out with their peers in the Physical Classes. • Parents are advised to buy additional resources to support their child’s learning at home. • The school lines will be available from 7:30am – 4pm if assistance is required. • The class teachers can be reached directly on class dojo from Monday - Friday.
