Toddlers Pebbles Playgroup Marble Communication and Language: You put your right leg in, Here’s a summary of our Math class this week: you take your right leg out…In..out..In…out and shake it ������Playing a number card game all about!!! We ������ Exercising our visual senses thoroughly enjoyed ������ Exercising our fine and gross motor skills singing and dancing ������ Practicing number recognition along to the Hokey ������ Practicing speed and accuracy Pokey Song. ������ Learning to manage our emotions when we lose in a game Did you know that ������Fun developing children can really benefit from music – and not just in one way. In addition to boosting their moods, keeping them on their feet and helping to build their confidence, research also shows that including music in a child’s life can also improve their speech. For example, The word 'want' has the 'o' sound instead of 'a,' which is how it's spelt. This means that children find it difficult to read out the word, as the sounds don't accompany the letters. In Literacy this week, we explored other tricky words include: he, me, we, be, my, go so, to, do.
