The market is thriving with the number of stalls back to pre Covid levels with the walkways between the stalls and the shops allowing plenty of room for shoppers. The market now operates on Mondays as well providing an opportunity to stock up on fresh goods after the weekend. With help from the European Regional Development Fund and Government’s Welcome Back Fund, people who have developed new skills over lockdown are having the chance to sell their products at the new Barking Makers Market. This market takes place in Town Hall Square on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Come along and explore the exciting range of goods on offer from fresh bread and handmade chocolate to unique graphic art, handcrafted ceramics, and exciting jewellery.
