ABOUT ME I feel that art and fashion is always beautiful from someone’s eye. But the perspective might differ.I am shagun and I have been studying and practicing fashion from past 5 years. Learning my basics in India about knitwear and types I have always wanted to innovate new styles and designs .But my area has always been in commercial wear. I have stayed with various craft clusters and learned some textile developments with them and come up with some innovative ideas to take the craft forward. I have been so obliged to various companies who gave me opportunity to develop my collections with them. My most turning point was when a flat knit company was ready to sponsor my flat knit collection. Since my beginning I have always been keen on attending and helping backstage for various fashion designers and I understand it well how the scenario works. The practicality of the work environment is different but being in the retail company and working with the tailors and pattern makers have put alot into my learning process. Coming from an artist family my love for art and illustrations is always at the peak.
