Irn Lkwr GM DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION HOW MANY MEMBERS ARE THERE IN YOUR FAMILY? It's just myself and my wife Leena Imran HOW DO YOU TAKE OUT TIME FOR THEM AND WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU DO AS A FAMILY? Well, it's a tricky question. I moved back from the USA mid-last year after 27 years. That too in the middle of Corona lockdown. So like everyone else, we too have been pretty isolated socially. But on the flip side, we do spend a lot of time together, take long walks, come up with projects in the house, spend time with parents and extended family. Recently with relaxed SOPs, we have started exploring new restaurants and eating out on weekends. Personally, I have always tried to maintain a fair work/life balance. Tipping balance on either side will always cause issues and not a healthy lifestyle. So time management is very critical. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES? I am an avid reader. I like books on political and military history, travelogues, comparative religion, and current affairs. I find time to play cricket, go hunting, grab my camera and explore new places, try different cuisines and socialize with friends. I am also a licensed pilot, so anything to do with aviation always catches my attention. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GET SOME SPARE TIME FROM WORK? Same as hobbies I answered. Catching up on social media and news is always a good stress reliever after a hard day at work. So that comes in handy. HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST PAYING JOB? My first paying job was in college (USA) at the age of 18, as a student aide. Though the earnings were literally peanuts, the confidence and humility I gained by earning my own money are priceless. It gave me a sense of responsibility and accountability from an early age. WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING? It's simple. I truly enjoy my work as every day is a new day with different challenges. The excitement of creating something new and chartering on unknown territories is what really propelled and moti- vates me WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL DAY AT WORK LOOK LIKE? Lots of meetings, catching up on deliverables, planning for the next day and week, emails, more meetings. Work is fun but very demanding and fast-paced. ANY ADVICE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO OTHERS? Be honest to yourself and to your commitments. Own your mistakes and share your successes. And never give up.
