It has been a challenging year for first responders and public safety. There is no quick fix as the pendulum swings away from tried and true American values. The time will come when all that you do is appreciated and understood. In the meantime, the Blauers will remain committed to introducing great new products to keep you safe, comfortable, and professional looking. A new ANSI standard is due to publish this year (ANSI 107:2015), which will obsolete 107:2010 and 207:2011 for public safety. The new standard will identify Type P as a separate Public Safety group with similar but different requirements than Roadway workers. We will continue to update you as the changes come to market, and are currently hard at work on the visibility products of the future. 2016 will bring several exciting innovations in uniforms as well. We will introduce new station uniforms made with FR protective and comfortable Kermel aramid fiber. Kermel is super colorfast to washing and light and makes an instantly comfortable uniform.
