profile. My love for design is fuled by colours, patterns and details. As a growing creative, my goal is to work with and learn from experienced designers and architects to create spaces that help me dig deep into the field of design, while enhancing my abilities to faster ideas to reality and crate memorable experiences for people. I believe that the key to great designer is a balance of creativity and tenacity. I think of myself as an ardent experimenter who believes in standing out through her design and personality and understands the importance of hands-on learning. aastha nanvani

1Zion Zion Salon is a chain of luxury salon with their new branch that had to designed on Sindhubhavan road, Ahmedabad with the carpet area as 1297sq.f.t. The idea was to design a luxury salon while keeping it minimalistic and chic. The core concept is based on layers, incorporated through materials and arches. Arches have a continuing form which when seen from corners, have layers of arches to it. It’s a European palette with pale and subdued colour palette and exposed materials like brick, concrete and terrazzo. Blend of textures with PU, rough wall texture, brass finish and exposed brick, etc. has been used. It has an unconventional layout with one group of cutting stations in a staggered format, while the other in a group format. The waiting area has a symmetrical layout and the services are at the back end of the site.

2Palak Elina Palak Elina is a 5BHK luxurious apartment located on Bopal-Ambli road. The apartment is now converted into a 4BHK apartment and the balcony was taken indoors, expanding the living room. The carpet area of the residence being 3000 sq.ft. The layout of this residence is slightly informal & mildly chaotic in its arrangements, combinations & planning. But considering the luxury residence, the chaos & informality is balanced through a light, airy & comfort based Material palette. Where eclectic styles are used in design, the softness of the Material palette balances it.

3Brown burger Brown Burger is a QSR. To start with the idea, a 600 sq.ft. hypothetical layout was considered. The approach towards this site was that the ambience should keep attracting the repeat customers too, hence thinking about each corner of the site. During the ideation time, it had to be kept in mind that the concept could also be executed in kiosks. A layout with 3 types of seating, namely the ledge seating that converts into a bar table and booth seating were planned. A fresh new approach towards a QSR had been planned. Keeping in mind the clientele and the USP of the restaurant, quirky colours, puns and patterns had been incorporated. The palette was planned from the colours of a burger, like greens in the reception counter and booth representing the greens in burger, similarly the back cushions and yellow arches, representing the yellow cheese in the burger and browns of the buns can be seen in the seating and lamps. The facade has 2 buns for transparency into the burger store.

4Retail Design The brief for the studio was to study, understand and design a brand store in the given site context. ‘Amrapali’ is the mother brand of ‘Tribe by Amrapali’. The idea of the brand was to combine the core essence of Amrapali with an experimental design philosophy to create contemporary and affordable designs. It has bold designs and is for the modern day women. The idea to design the store was to expand ideas and take people closer to the design philosophy, understand and inspiration behind the designs. The average size of Tribe outlets is 600sq.ft. which had to be expanded into a 2700 Sq.ft. site. New concepts have been introduced, while maintaining the brand standards.

5Digital art During the lockdown, I started learning photoshop. From the basics, I started inclining towards making self potraits. I explored it to represent myself in various ways and then of artists whose visuals I like of whose words that touched me. I feel making digital art has helped me in exploring my ideas and visuals which exists chaotically in my head. Here are a few of them. You can have a look at them and other content on @_manmarziyan.
Thank You.
