REGISTRATION HOW TO REGISTER 1 Internet Registration — Go to commed.miracosta.edu to register online. 2 By Phone: 760.795.6820— Please have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover card in hand and your registration information ready when you call. 3 In Person— Community Education & Workforce Development Office, MiraCosta College Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Hours: 9 AM–5 PM, Monday –Friday. 4 By Mail — Complete the registration form on the next page using a separate form for each person (forms may be duplicated). Visa, MasterCard, Discover card or check (payable to MiraCosta College) can be used to pay registration fees. PARKING INFORMATION Parking permits normally required at MiraCosta College campuses in Oceanside, San Elijo and the Community Learning Center have been waived for summer 2022 semester in student parking lots ONLY. College police will be enforcing parking requirements in staff parking lots or spots, and disabled parking spaces. Parking is always free at the Technology Career Institute. REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY Check refunds may take 4–6 weeks to process. Class/Workshop Refund Policy: Refunds will be made up to three business days prior to the class start date. No refunds will be given once a class has started. A $15 cancellation fee will be retained for each refund. A full refund will be given if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Unused attendance is not transferable to another class session. Excursion Refund Policy: Refunds will be made up to five business days before the excursion only if the excursion is full and someone on the waiting list is available to take your place. There will be a $25 cancellation fee if a replacement can be found. Workforce Training Refund Policy: Refunds will be made up to five business days, depend- ing on course, prior to the class start date. A $75 cancellation fee for work skills programs will be retained for each refund. A full refund will be given if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Unused attendance is not transferable to another class session. Class/Workshop Transfer Policy: Transfers will be approved up to three business days prior to the class start date.
