As we step into the new academic year, filled with hope and dreams of scaling new heights and with challenges of online learning and teaching. This unforeseen and unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic has surely altered lives in a big way and has disrupted life across the world beyond imagination. The challenges faced by our children, parents and the teachers to cater to the academic needs during closure of school and adapting to virtual learning were immense. Last year was the year of learning and exploring new avenues and opportunities of virtual teaching and learning by all of us. I can proudly assert that at BBPSIP, we have continued to exhibit dexterity, diligence and determination to work to the best of our abilities. I take this platform as an opportunity to reiterate a few important things that we, as parents, must keep in mind. Parents must remember that children should not be forced, but should be guided to achieve whatever goals they may have in their minds in an easy and pleasing manner, so that we may be able to discover the particular touch of genius in each one of them. The purpose of education is to teach our children to think and develop a capacity to reason out facts. Students should keep in mind the importance of planning and prioritizing their time and the effective use of it which are essential to achieve success. Students should always think and review – discover the cause and effect of every event or incident in their lives and surroundings, in which they are involved. Do not surrender or become a slave to youthful fancies and indulgences. Be steady in your studies. Learn to enjoy hard work – particularly your studies. Think wisely, think rationally. Always prepare yourself for next day’s lesson, well in advance. Be reflective and attentive in class. Hard work, diligence, dedication and perseverance are the most important traits in a person that lead to success. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and women. Last but not the least I would like to give a big hand to all the parents for their continued support. We believe that this is the time to not just deal with the current emergency, but also build foundations of resilience to face such difficult events in the future. Let us consider this formidable challenge as an opportunity to learn and must rise to meet this bravely. We shouldn't let the pandemic pin us down. We must remain positive and keep our hopes alive as I believe that \" Nothing is predestined. The obstacles of our past can become the gateways that lead to new beginnings.\" -MS. Ruchira Bhatnagar Stay hale and hearty! Stay positive! Keep Smiling! Principal
