WHY RECONDITIONING & RECERTIFICATION ARE SO IMPORTANT... Regular reconditioning and recertification ensures that athletic equipment continues to meet the performance standards you expect. Annual reconditioning will not prevent injuries, but it does ensure that every athlete is issued clean, sanitized inspected and repaired equipment - and in the case of the helmet, recertified to the NOCSAE performance standard. HELMET FITTING RIDDELL HELMET FITTING GUIDE 1. CHECKING HEAD SIZE 2. PUTTING ON/TAKING OFF HELMET 3.
