Co-curricular Activities Co-curricular activities facilitate the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual development, emotional development, social development, moral development, and aesthetic development. Creativity, Enthusiasm, and Positive thinking are some of the facets of personality development and the outcomes of co-curricular activities. A core component of holistic education is the Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular activities that shape the development of students. They are instrumental in honing the talents and developing social skills, critical thinking and teamwork. It is mandatory for students to participate in CCA. To instil a sense of belonging, camaraderie and brotherhood among students, these activities are held by organizing CCA Competitions which encourage healthy competition, a hunger for winning and pride in accomplishments. CCAs build upon the inherent talents of students as well as getting them interested in new activities and opening their minds to new possibilities in the realm of skill-based education. Students’ talents are built upon which equips them to soar higher through participation in competitions, talent shows and events. They also foster social integration, increase their self-confidence and teach them to follow their passion. A wide range of skills-based learning options make CCA very attractive to students. Co-curricular Activities have a wide horizon to cater to the cultural, social & aesthetic development of the child. Kendriya Vidyalayas provide ample opportunities for the all- round development of the students. Activities outside the curriculum which help in the physical and emotional development of students are conducted regularly. Doha Path Competition & Winners (16 July 2022) The Doha Path competition was organised for educating the students and to create awareness about historical saints. Students beautifully recited dohas and showcased their instinctive flair, The event was truly inspired by the supreme emphasis laid on the preservation of our culture and moral values. All the recitations contained important messages and a great deal of worldly wisdom by Sant Kabir, Sant Surdas, Rahim and many more. Spell Bee Competition (23 July 2022) Spell Bee Competition was organised on 23 July 2022. It was a group competition in which there were 3 participants in each group. It is a competition in which participants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. To compete, participants must memorize the spellings of words as written in dictionaries, and recite them accordingly. The winner of this competition are as follows: Tagore House bagged 1st place Ku. The aim of the competition is to apprise students the importance of trees in their lives and they should plant more and more trees to save our environment.

They carved beautiful models of Shivlings, Lord Ganesha, Snail, Butterfly, Flowers and many more things of their interest. We have such kinds of talent in our school.

Due to periodic test in starting week of August, we put this activity in the last week of July. Students made lovely Rakhis using colourful threads, beads, glitters and other decorative items. Many students tied Rakhi to principal sir and other teachers.

वदिाँुक 20 िुलाई िे 23 िुलाई 2022 को कंे द्रीय विद्यालय गोमतीिगर, लखिऊ में आयोवित कबड्डी(U-17) बालक िगा में विद्यालय के कबड्डी दल िे िभी 16 दलों के मध्य खेलते हुए छठा स्र्थाि प्राप्त वकया ि कक्षा 10 के छात्र मो. रे िाि का चयि राष्टर्ीय खेलकू द प्रवतयोवगता के वलये वकया गया। इिी प्रकार रस्सी कू द प्रवतयोवगता में कक्षा 8 के विद्यार्थी िमर्था बािपाई ि रोवित बािपई द्वारा प्रवतभाग वकया गया। वदिाुँक 26 िुलाई िे 28 िुलाई 2022 को कें द्रीय विद्यालय अलीगंि, लखिऊ में आयोवित एर्थलेविक्स खेलकू द प्रवतयोवगता में एिररल विंि (U-14), माििी पिेल (U-17) ि पल्लिी विंि (U- 19) िे प्रवतभाग वकया, वििमें िे एिररल विंि िे 100 मीिर दौड़ मंे रित पदक ि 200 दौड़ मंे कांस्य पदक प्राप्त करते हुए के .वि.िं. के राष्टर्ीय स्तर प्रवतयोवगता मंे प्रवतभावगता िुविवित की l वदिाुँक 30 िुलाई िे 02 अगस्त 2022 को कें द्रीय विद्यालय अलीगंि, लखिऊ में आयोवित एर्थलेविक्स खेलकू द प्रवतयोवगता मंे बालक िगा िे अमि विंि कक्षा 11, आकाश कक्षा 12, अिय कु मार शुक्ला कक्षा 12 ि शुभम पाल कक्षा 12 द्वारा प्रवतभाग वकया गया l

सी.बी.एस.ई. पररणाम िी.बी.एि.ई. द्वारा आयोवित 10 िीं एिं 12 िीं के परीक्षा के पररणाम में कंे द्रीय विद्यालय वशिगढ़, रायबरे ली छात्रों का प्रदशाि शािदार रिा I िी.बी.एि.ई. द्वारा आयोवित ित्र 2021-22 के 12िीं के बोडा परीक्षा पररणाम मंे कंे द्रीय विद्यालय वशिगढ़, रायबरे ली का पररणाम शत प्रवतशत रिा । विद्यालय की छात्रा कु . ररतु विंि िे 471 अंक प्राप्त कर विद्यालय मंे प्रर्थम स्र्थाि प्राप्त वकए। कु . ररतु विंि को अंग्रेिी मंे 90 अंक ,गवणत, भौवतकी और रिायि विज्ञाि मंे 95-95 अंक और िीि विज्ञाि मंे 96 अंक प्राप्त हुए।दू िरा स्र्थाि प्राप्त करिे िाली कु . मुस्काि पिेल िे 416 अंक (अंग्रेिी 80 अंक, विंदी 80 अंक ,रिायि 83अंक, भौवतकी 81 अंक और िीि विज्ञाि में 84 अंक) प्राप्त कर विद्यालय मंे दू िरा स्र्थाि प्राप्त वकया। कु . अदीबा फावतमा िे 415 अंक(अंग्रेिी 92 अंक ,विंदी 90 अंक ,भौवतकी 64 अंक ,रिायि विज्ञाि 81 अंक और िीि विज्ञाि में 88 अंक) प्राप्त कर विद्यालय में तीिरा स्र्थाि प्राप्त वकया।इिके अवतररि ियवदव्य, वशिािी, वशिांग, अंबुि,वप्रय,दीप कु मार,प्रगवत विंि िे भी िराििीय प्रदशाि वकया। ििीँु कक्षा 10 िीं के पररणाम मंे मास्टर अिंत बािपेयी िे 472 अंक (विंदी – 89 , अंग्रेिी – 94 , गवणत – 93 , विज्ञाि – 97 और िामाविक विज्ञाि मंे 99) प्राप्त कर विद्यालय में प्रर्थम स्र्थाि प्राप्त वकया । दू िरे स्र्थाि प्राप्त करिे िाले मास्टर िंगम वद्विेदी को 446 अंक (विंदी – 93 , अंग्रेिी – 90 , गवणत – 87 , विज्ञाि – 81 और िामाविक विज्ञाि में 95) वमले । 434-434 अंक प्राप्त कर तीिरा स्र्थाि िंयुि रूप िे कु . आँुचल शुक्ल और मास्टर मोिम्मद आवदल का रिा । इिके अवतररि देिांश, अवक्षता झा, गौरी पाण्डेय, मोिम्मद शोएब, अमि और विशाल का परीक्षा पररणाम भी िराििीय रिा । कक्षा 12िी के बोडा की परीक्षा में शावमल कु ल 35 छात्र-छात्राओं मंे िे 33 छात्र-छात्राएं तर्था 10िी के 30 छात्र-छात्राओं में िे 20 छात्र-छात्राएं प्रर्थम श्रेणी मंे उत्तीणा हुए िैं।यि विद्यालय के वलए बेिद गौरि का वदि िै।कोरोिा िैिी मिामारी के दौर मंे िंिाधिों िे िूझते हुए ग्रामीण पररिेश के बच्चों का यि अिाधारण प्रदशाि आगामी बोडा परीक्षाओं मंे शावमल िोिे िाले छात्र छात्राओं के वलए प्रेरणा का काया करे गा।

प्री-वोके िनल कार्यक्रम राष्ट्र ीर् लिक्षा नीलत 2020 के अनुपालन में कें द्रीर् लवद्यालर् संगठन द्वारा समस्त कें द्रीर् लवद्यालर्ों में सत्र 2022-23 से पूवय व्यावसालर्क लिक्षा कार्यक्रम के आर्ोजन की रूपरे खा दी गर्ी है। इस कार्यक्रम को मूतय रूप प्रदान करते हुए कंे द्रीर् लवद्यालर् लिवगढ़ में इससे सम्बंलधत गलतलवलधर्ों आरंि हो गर्ी हैं। इस कार्यक्रम में मूलतः कक्षा 6 से 8 तक के छात्र-छात्राओं को िालमल लकर्ा गर्ा हैI इस कार्यक्रम के अन्तगयत लवद्यालर् में बागवानी, काष्ठकला, खेल-कू द, कृ लत्रम बुद्धिमत्ता, सूचना प्रौद्योलगकी और साक्षरता कौिल का प्रलिक्षण छात्र-छात्राओं को लदर्ा जा रहा है। लवद्यालर् के अनुिवी लिक्षकों की टीम लजसमें श्री महेि कु मार िुक्ल ( कार्ायनुिव लिक्षक), श्री संदीप कु मार (कला लिक्षक), श्री आिीष कु मार लसंह ( िारीररक स्वास्थ्य एवं लिक्षा लिक्षक), श्रीमती मीरा श्रीवास्तव (पुस्तकालर्ाध्यक्ष), श्री लववेक पांडेर् (कम्प्यूटर अनुदेिक) िालमल हैं, के लनदेिन मंे छात्र व्यावहाररक एवं जीवनोपर्ोगी लिक्षा के गुर सीख रहे हंै। इस कार्यक्रम की उपर्ोलगता एवं सार्यकता र्ह है लक इससे छात्र-छात्राओं के खेल-कू द, र्ोग, कला आलद की क्षमता मंे बढ़ोत्तरी होगी तर्ा कार्यक्रम में सहिालगता से छात्रों का आमोद प्रमोद िी होगा। ध्यातव्य है लक इस पाठ्यक्रम में अलधगम हेतु 10 लदवसीर् बस्ता रलहत प्रलिक्षण लिलवर चलार्ा जा रहा है और इसका लक्रर्ान्वर्न पूरे वषय तक करने की र्ोजना है। आगामी लदनों मंे इस कार्यक्रम के अंतगयत छात्रों को ऐलतहालसक एवं सांस्कृ लतक महत्व के स्र्लों पर िैक्षलणक भ्रमण हेतु ले जाने की र्ोजना िी िालमल है। सार् ही सार् लवलिन्न क्षेत्रों के लविेषज्ों को आमंलत्रत कर उनके अनुिवों से िी छात्र-छात्राओं को समृि लकर्ा जाएगा।

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS Kargil Vijay Diwas or Kargil Victory Day is the celebration of India’s historic win against Pakistan on July 26, 1999. The Indian Army successfully removed Pakistani forces who were illegally occupying a hilltop at the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC) at Kargil, Ladakh. To commemorate this victory and remember those who sacrificed their lives for this country, Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated annually in India on July 26. The Kargil war began in May 1999 in Jammu & Kashmir's Kargil area. During the two-month-long combat, India deployed numerous soldiers under 'Operation Vijay.' The battle was won by India on July 26, 1999. This battle against Pakistan was waged in three stages. Kendriya Vidyalaya Shivgarh Raebareli celebrated this day with pomp and show. Students of this vidyalaya participated in different activities conducted in this vidyalaya.

Scout & Guide Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan focuses on the training of teachers so that they may impart quality education to students who are put under their care. Five teachers attended Scout and Guide Training from 04/07/22 to 10/07/22 at KV IIT Kanpur KV No.2 Armapur, Kanpur. Mr. Susheel Kumar Shukla- Scout Master(Advance) Mr. B K Tiwari Scout Master (Advance) Mr. A K Mishra Cub Master (Advance) Mr. Ravi Kumar Scout Master (Basic) Mr. Sarvesh Kumar Giri Cub Master (Basic) Two students have been awarded Rajya Puraskar and now are eligible to participate in Rashtarapati Award Under Scout. They are Mas. Nishant Dubey from class 12 and Mas. Mayank from class 12 passout batch. 6 Scouts namely Mas. Ayush Shukla, Mas. Ujjwal, Mas. Prajwal, Mas. Jag Jahir from class 10, Mas. Adarsh and Mas. Shubham from classs 11 have been awarded Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp. They will participate in Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp.

Educational Excursion Government of India declared to celebrate 75th Anniversary of Independence of India as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Under this flagship programme of Government of India, Kendriya Vidyalaya Shivgarh has been celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. One of the activities under it was to take students to the local historical place. Students of this vidyalaya visited Mahesh Palace Shivgarh. It was an educational tour where they learnt a lot about the King and his dynasty.
