FROM PRINCIPAL’S DESK….. Baring School, Jandiala Guru Baring School Jandiala Guru entered its Nineth year (2023-24) of service to the society at Jandiala Guru. It all started in year 2016 when Baring School, Jandiala Guru was started as an Annex of Baring Senior Secondary School, Batala(A Christian Minority Co-Educational Institution covered under Section2(G) of the National commission for Minority Educational Institution Act,2004) under Baring Union Christian College Association of CNI Diocese of Amritsar. The mission compound campus Jandiala Guru had already rendered educational services Through Girl’s Mission Primary School (Aided) till 2013.The Girls school was closed due to insufficient teaching faculty and strength. However in the year 2016,under the leadership of the Most Revd. ( Dr.)P.K Samantaroy ( Bishop- Diocese of Amritsar ,(CNI) also the Chairman of Baring Union Christian College Association (BUCCA) Baring School, Jandiala Guru started its journey with an over whelming response from the local public with 124 admissions (Grades Nur-1 st ) .In the year 2022 we had 981 students (Grades Nursery to VIII), Now the school is upto grade IX with 1098 students.Baring School has marked itself as one of the best educational institutions in providing holistic and quality education in the best possible way to the students.The School strives to make students responsible citizens of the society so that they will return to serve the society. Along with sound academic education the school also works towards physical, mental and social development. We would like to thank all the parents well wishers for their support and Co -operation . We are immensely happy to bring forth ‘DEEPSHIKHA ‘ as a quarterly magazine and also take the op- portunity to thank the team who has put in their efforts ……………………... Self confidence is about believing in one's own abilities. It opens doors and encourage students to make the most of opportunities, express their creativity in classroom by performing different tasks that include:- *Writing skill *Creating story (animation/writing) *Planting trees *Role play and *Skits. Confidence building allows students to help new students to interact with old students, all teachers, and school environment. WORLD HEALTH DAY (APRIL 1-7 ,2023) World Health Day on 7th April FIRE SAFETY with the Theme of “Just Keep Moving” to make Students and AWA R E N E S S parents aware of the advantages of being well . School educated the students on a variety of health-related issues. COMPETITIONS FANCY DRESS is an art of wearing unusual costumes as a part of a theme. They learn to imitate the mannerisms of the character or object they're dressed up as, and, may even create their own special traits and themes, which encourages children to “think outside the box,” practice different emotions, and use their language skills to communicate and learn about the different states of India. SELF INTRODUCTION (11 APRIL, 2023) Vegetables and fruit provide important vitamins such as vitamin C and folic acid. Through competition students identify fruits and vegetables and also learn why they have to include fruit or vegetable in diet. ESSAY WRITING (18 APRIL, 2023) In SCIENCE WORKING MODEL competition students works with hy- draulics' with teachers.
