BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS USED IN BATHUKAMMA  Batukamma one of the major festival of Telangana and some parts of Andhra pradesh has started  today .Marigold , celosia , indian lotus , tanner ‘s cassia( the national flower of telangana )are the flowers used in batukamma which are eco – friendly and can be degradable easily.

NON BIO – DEGRADABLE MATERIALS USED IN BATUKAMMA Materials like plastic flowers and artificial batukamma’s can damage our ecology . They pollute Our environment

BIO DEGRADABLE MATERIALS USED IN SANJHI FESTIVAL Matrials like degradable clay and flower are used to make models in sanjhi festival . They automatically get decomposed in soil and act as fertilizers to plant .

NON BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS USED IN SANJHI FESTIVAL We should stop using kundans ,plastic beads which are harmful for our environment . Start using grains for decortaing sanjhi festival , as grains can be decomposed .

PROS AND CONS Kitchen waste like Plastic bottles take vegetable peels can be million of years to get decomposed in soil . decomposed and can harm our eco system .
