Coralie, The Adorable little MermaidAll Loredana Molina’s dolls are painted using Genesis making for truly authentic coloring which does not fade over time. The weight of the dolls is the same as a real baby.Loredana Molina takes painstaking care with every tiny detail of these unique works, including nostrils, the use of color combinations to create the effect of many layers of skin, veins, texture, mottling, folds, lips, eyebrows, nails, eyelashes, tears, spittle, etc. All of which combined to arouse profound emotions in anyone holding one of these unique creations.

Coralie, The Adorable little Mermaid ColoringCoralie has been painted over three weeks with many thin, translucent layers of Genesis Heat Set paints to achieve realistic colouring of a new born baby mermaid. The finish is a varnish which is a protection against abrasion and UV light, gives the skin a very fin structure.

About me Hello, my name is Loredana, I am Italian and live in Rome, the city where I was born. My passion for dolls has always been with me and pulled me into a fairy tale. Following my passion my dream came true in April of 2012, after completing a basic course, whilst I was also using the same fantastic techniques used by all international artists I also decided that I must embark on a path of self learning and experimentation in order to raise the level of artistry and uniqueness I passionately wanted for each of my creations and for them to arouse strong feelings of tenderness whenever you hold them in your arms. I come from a family of artists, many of my grandfather's works of art are owned around the world and my own brother and children continue this artistic inheritance.

Loredana Molina was a member of the judging panel at the 5th Stezzano Reborn DollConvention. She is a member of IRDA (International Reborn Doll Artists Association),who’s mission is to promote and continuing professional excellence in this art form.Loredana Molina participated in the competition for Coliii Awards 2013 and in the RebornBaby category 3, at The Great British Doll and Bear Convention 2014. At theseinternational level events only the most skilled reborn artists, using the highest quality materialand kit are permitted guaranteeing unique works of art.
