School Description Texas A&M University is a public university located in College Station, TX. It is a non - religious, co-ed university. There are currently 68,679 students enrolled. This large campus contains over 200 buildings, and is located in a mid sized city. Texas A&M was founded on April 17, 1871, and the George Bush Presidential Library is located there. It is located on 5,200 acres and is one of the largest universities in the nation.
